The thought of being high gives me anxiety.

You made zero mention of your diet. What are you eating?

I eat 2 meals a day. I’m currently adjusting my diet after reading a book about what to eat based on your blood type. So, eating more rice, more Mediterranean foods and veggies, more cucumber. I cut out all sodas about 3 months ago before I quit smoking (I would have a coke at lunch and a slice of pizza on my office days). Last night I ate chicken meatball gyros with cucumbers and tomatoes. I usually don’t have breakfast, haven’t had bacon in months. Lunch now is usually leftovers.

Quit those meds

I’d love to be off Prozac. And I feel great when I’m off it, but I’m a major depressive and prone to some deep drop offs when I’m off. Last time I stopped, I had to go and “depopulate” a flock of 200,000 organic broilers (meat chickens) and the whole scene took me to a bad place. I probably need a new job, which is why I started my masters in public health and I’m halfway done. Hoping to move over to public health and still respond to large scale emergencies. Working on my task book hoping to get credentialed for level 1 responses like Katrina. Right now I’m type 3 all hazards credentialed for Operations, Planning and Logistics Section Chief. Maybe one day I’ll have to leave the career entirely, but helping people is about the only thing that makes me happy.
