Oatmeal, quinoa, rice, sweet potatoes, berries, fruits, wheat bread, wife makes from scratch pasta every couple weeks and bread once a week or so. If you have 2000 calories in a day and you aren’t saving them for beer then you can have quite a variety of stuff as long as you keep an eye portion sizes. I often have 2-3 squares of dark (85-90%) dark chocolate and a banana before/during/right after hard weightlifting sessions.

I live a totally different macro lifestyle, (low carb) so I am very curious. What do you, and others, eat for carb? Surely not heavily processed? Also, why so high on the carb? Again, legit curious, not shading anybody at all.

In general mine come from fruit, promgrante juice, veggies

But there is nothing wrong with processed foods when it comes to weight loss so long as you meet calorie and protein requirements

And especially nothing wrong with potatoes and white rice

Averaged 2150cal per day with 200g protein. Over a bit on calories but not bad

OG starting weight was 260 two years ago, but it’s time to update it.

Starting weight is January 1st…. Goal weight is for December 31st, but I’d like to hit it sooner.

280/239/190(?)

Started at 280 Nov. '21. Not sure what my goal weight is or should be; just enjoying the ride down for now (bumps and all).

Idk what y’all do on weekends but I try to just stay within my calorie target versus hitting my macros perfectly. That way I don’t end up beating myself up while having some flexibility to enjoy things I wouldn’t usually eat as much during the week.

I'll jump in. The accountability on all these threads is really helpful.

Thanks. I had actually dropped to 200 even for a while, but added calories back in. Pretty sure I’ve gained a fair amount of muscle. Need to get a new InBody scan.

First post in this thread but want to hold myself responsible. Bad back and knees have limited my aerobic exercise but pushing 46 I need to make some changes. Goal is 175 at 6'0"
