Anybody experienced this? I'm 40 and definitely not the man I once was but never really had trouble getting/keeping boners. I got sick about a month ago (fever for a couple of days, upper res for another week or so after). Never got tested but probably COVID. Anyhow, I have been totally fine for weeks now but haven't been able to get a raging boner, or even a decent one, since.

I jokingly said it was post COVID related but after researching a little today it looks like there may be something to it. Am I alone here? Am I screwed? What to do about this?

If Covid is as a depopulation ploy like some have speculated a boner jam would be one of the first things they’d program in.

I’ve never heard of that symptom though. It could be a coincidence. If I went a month without wood I think I’d go see a doctor.

I would definitely see a doctor asap. I’ve heard of friends that have had cholesterol issues and it effected blood flow

It was also one of the symptoms I had leading up to a cancer diagnosis.

Talk to a doctor for sure. Getting old though, get the T tested to know.

Outside of that, you can also visit peptides thread or just go the generic route with Blue Chew, Roman, etc.

No lie, recreational use of cialis and viagra in your 40s is a mighty fun thing.

Definitely getting older has something to do with it and like I said I'm definitely not the highly average love maker I was 10-15 years ago anyway. It just seems like if it was just an age thing it would have happened more gradual than all of the sudden, which is why I'm wondering if it's attributable to a certain instance (getting sick).

Also, I've been getting Blue Chew for a couple of years but only ever took it on date nights or when the kids were spending the night with the grandparents or whatever not because I really needed it daily. It used to work great but the last month it just provides for like an 80% boner and average endurance, basically just gets me back to my baseline.

Get the T levels checked, along with a full panel. If you are not yet, start taking some supplements.

I was asking the supplement question here just the other week, here are several people's replies

I mean if you end up qualifying for TRT, that will be a night and day change. There is the life long commitment though to that, so see what your options are before that.

I personally would t put much stock in that. Seems like COVID is blamed for lots of things these days, and I would guess there is a lot of psychosomatic stuff going on there.

fair warning this isnt the case for everyone. I am struggling with post TRT treatment ED and am close to quitting TRT because of it.

Other people can chime in here about this, but that sounds like your dosage might be too high and E2 is now above range. You might need to take an AI and then back off a bit. Can you go to smaller every other day doses instead of big spikes once a week? Just a thought.

not looking to derail this post but ive tried dosage from 50 mg week to 200 mg week, AI, no AI, E from low sub 20 to upwards 60 over last year half. Dosing from 2x week to everyday. Ive trialed a lot of different options.

Are you saying trt gave you ed or it just didn't work treating the problem that already existed

I had no trouble with ED when starting TRT. it wasnt the primary reason (or even consideration) for going on. ED started developing after about 3-4 months after starting and I've tried numerous protocols since to try to "dial it in".

i think trt is great, the other benefits are great, but when you start messing with hormones you cant predict 100% whats going to happen. id exhaust your other options first and your still recovering from the onset from covid so you just might need some more time. Check our your cardiovascular system and urinary/kidney functions first. I'm currently running down other potential causes myself before throwing in the towel officially on being on trt.

See if they will lower your testosterone dosage and write you a script for Proviron. That will fix you up quick.
