its about consistent long term progress. this thread is 21 pages for a reason. its similar to the 531 boring but big approach....consistent submax strength training combined with high volume low intensity work ==== big gains over time if one is consistant.

How do you like Stacked Jacked and Turning Heads? I have 1 week of Pool Season 1 left them re-running 2. Was looking at running Stacked Jacked etc after PS2 for 2 cycles leading in to Squatober. How long are the workouts taking you?

I'm buying something, but can't decide on what.

May do grasshopper unless I decide on something else.

I have been enjoying it.
I did some form of the Stronger by Science program since 2019, with my only break from that being Squatober and Deadcember last year. with SBS I was doing 2 compounds, 1 back and 1 ab excercise 5 days a week and was taking about 45 minutes which is perfect for me. Like i said before thought, I always planned to do more accessories but rarely did them.

So with Stacked and Jacked, I'm still getting quality sets/reps with SBD & OHP, but since the program is laid out I'm also finishing up all of my accessory work. 4 days a week, it's been consistently taking me 65-75 minutes. That's with 1 minute rest, sometimes 90 seconds when changing plates or barbell/bench setup. a bit longer than I'd like, but not by much.

Just finished DB strength for probably the 6th time in a row. Finally getting a rack next week, any advice on something to try next that utilizes farmer/suitcase carrys? Thinking about filling out the hoodie part 2 or pool season 2.

Silverback has carries almost everyday, I'm running that again after Arm farm.

My rotation until Squatober is going to be:
July- Arm farm
August- silverback
September- prequel/pregame
October- Squatober
November- Filling out the hoodie

Been doing high rep work for 8 weeks, so I think I'm going to run a six week strength block before starting grasshopper. No idea what current training maxes would be.

I dropped from 203lbs to 183lbs since last July. According to Amazon Halo, I was 30.6% BF at 196lbs in Aug and now 24% at 183lbs. Initially, I started just doing cross-rope programs from July to Oct. Decided it was time to get back into strength training since I was getting bored with all the cardio. Upper and lower body has definitely seen significant progress, the veins in my arms have reappeared after being absent for 10 years, and belt mark has moved 2 inches. Currently, I'm trying to work more cardio in and get the BF under 20%. I'm also about to be 43, so the slow metabolism is definitely a hurdle.

Just finished up Pool Season II. Looking for my next program. In a perfect world I'd like to do something where can can integrate a few HIIT routines a week. Arm farm is one I'm entertaining.

Fire away with suggestions.

If your running it back I assume you were satisfied with your gains?

Yes indeed. Noticeable gains and was also a fun program.

It has a good bit of super sets. Which I enjoy because otherwise I’ll barely sweat during a lift.

Turnt Up Remastered today

Anyone got this yet? If so, does it have deadlifts in it at least once a week? Is it all high volume lower weight work?
I have done squatober, grasshopper, seesaw, and silverback. Looking to cop another 3 day a week plan. Silverback was way too much for me. I am 48 and the constant heavy hammering on my back was too much for me, I got weaker.

I did the original one. It had deadlifts 1-2 times a week. The general layout was 3 days per week with day 1 being 150 total reps, day 2 was 240 total reps, and day 3 was 300 reps. All supersets but working sets at 5 reps on day 1, 8 reps on day 2 and 10 reps on day 3 for each set of each exercise each week

I feel like this was discussed before. But how much should we be increasing our training maxes after each 4 week program?

Is it 2.5lbs for upper 5lbs lower?
5lbs upper 10lbs lower?
