I think it’s mostly personal preference/how you’re feeling with the weights at the end of the cycle. I did 5/10 for a bit last year on 5/3/1 and hit a wall too quickly. Dialed back and have been doing 2.5/5 the last 6-8 months and haven’t hit that wall yet on the PPSA plans

Okay that’s what I figured. I’ll stick to 2.5lbs - 5lbs as long as I keep feeling strong in there.

Ftr Aaron posted that Stacked, jacked and Turning Heads is the toughest ppsa plan.

I tend to agree and think it's prolly the best upper body builder he has put out.

Only got 1 Day to workout this week, decided to do his "Yoked Up" workout he posted yesterday. Was pretty rough at 3pm today, the heat was real.

I started Turnt Up Remastered today. It is squats and bench Monday and Fridays, then deads on Wednesdays. Everything is supersets so its a higher volume lower weight program (which I was looking for). This will be the first time in a long time I am not squatting 3 days a week.

Man day 1 of Strongsville has me beat in this garage gym heat. I was honestly tired after the damn superset warm up

Then you had the stairways to heaven on squats....sweating like a whole in church.

I'm getting lost in researching programs... Soo many to choose... Which are superset centric? I've grown to really appreciate supersets.

turnt up, both original and remastered
superset
Pump City
original hypertrophy has a lot of them
db strength
arm farm
benchoholic

but better option is, what are you wanting to focus on and how many days per week are you looking to lift?

I was going to ask lsu777 his advice on what program to start with, but I got impatient waiting on my account to activate. I settled on brickhouse.

Just finished day 1 and the main lifts were fairly easy, but I had never done carries before. My hands will hardly allow me to type this.

brickhouse is a bad arse program, dont be fooled by the sets being easy, they add up over time for sure. and yea those carries will kick your arse.

I'm trying to decide what to run next in September. Do you plan on cutting Let's Pregame short when Oct starts since it's a 7 week prep program at 3 days a week? I was definitely thinking of only 3 days a week for my September program.

Finished up the Mullet last week. I liked it, but was a little too beginner for where I was. I wasn’t getting the pump that I got out of Pool Season.

Yes, I am going to stop Let's Pregame once October starts. I was thinking about doing half the month 3x a week and then ramping up to 4x a week for the other half.

3x a week of squatting would already be more than the 2x a week I'm doing now so I don't really know if doing more than that is necessary since I'm just trying to warm-up for October and not tire my legs out.

really? the party section seems pretty rough to be honest.

if you want something tougher, try stacked and jacked, periodic table of thickness or the hyperthrophy.

yea im only gonna do 4 times a week for lets pregame.

FTR strongville is tough as shite. really enjoying it but I will say, being in a garage gym....its a mother fricker once i get to the "cardio" portion. Im exhausted, soaking wet and its taking me a little longer than expected just due to the heat.

gonna buy the new turnt up today too.

WK2 of grasshopper done

The sets of 10 back squats at 50, 55, 57% gave my legs a crazy pump on day 2

I had day 3 of Strongsville tonight. 6 sets of bench, 6 sets of squats plus pump work and the warm uo had me dead. Strongsville is a badass program...but damn it's a lot for sure especially for my first ppsa to i picked to run All the way through.

I didn’t hate it. Just kept my size the same, didn’t see much increase in strength or size.

I’m also on about week 20 of working out consistent. So it could have been a plateau period.
