Anybody run stronger than a garlic milkshake yet?
I bought it, but haven't ran it. The setup is 2 main lifts and 2 supersets each day. Roughly 15-18 sets/supersets a day w/o warm-up. This plan doesn't have a warm-up written at all.
Main lifts
D1: Squat/Bench
D2: RFESS/OHP
D3: Deadlift/Incline Press
D4: Squat/Bench
D5: RFESS/Shoulder Press
D6: Sumo Deadlift/ Incline Press

I like FOTH, but it's really light on legs.
Yes, finishing that workout soon and it is very light on lower body.

Oak Tree, Big Back Billy, and Pool Season are my three favorites that give a good mix of everything. I feel like you could just rotate those three year round and be covered.
Pool Season I & II will be my rotation throughout the summer before I try a clean bulk with Stacked, Jacked and Turning Heads in the Fall.

One more week left of pool season 1, then jumpinh straight into pool season 2. Love the “big pump Fridays”. Those high rep bench-BB row supersets are no joke

Too many to grab at once. I picked up a few that looked the most interesting (and I don't already have the remastered version).
Seems like Aaron puts them up 2-3 times a year. I think they were up for Black Friday also last year.

On the last week of Periodic Table of Fitness. Took a Spring break off after week 2, Like it but the workouts are long I’m some at 1:10-1:20 before the “cardio” portion which I’ve had to skip at least 2 weeks worth of…. I still feel even without having time for cardio it’s a solid program and worked over after each session….
Think I’ll do Mass that Last next as been seeing good chirpings on that one.
Cheers

Starting Day 1 of Sport Strength today. Anyone out there ran this program yet? Excited to add field conditioning/ sprints and some olympic lifts back in.

All these years of weighted pull ups finally caught up with me yesterday lol. Have a strain in my lat/teres major on Day 1 of sport strength yesterday, felt it during weighted pull ups and then it strained pretty good during heavy RDL. Gonna take it easy on the rows/pulls rest of this week and have my PT buddy doing dry needling. If anyone has any experience with a strain in this area let me know! First time dealing with a minor injury in awhile but still frustrating

Major suckage, take it easy and don't give in to the urge to dive right back in
Finished FOTH on Tuesday and starting Pool Season I today

I tweaked a lat doing weighted chins a few weeks ago, it healed over the weekend but reminded me to be cautious as I get older.

Anyone who has run Pool Season II - do you struggle to do the cardio? By the time I get to it I’m worn out. It’s to a point I have to use very light weights to get through Zottmans, BB 21s, shrugs etc

Yep. Whenever it has the tri-set of curls to OHP get me every time. By the cardio portion I’m done.

Have now done DB strength, Squatober (not in October), Oak Tree, Mass that Lasts and just started Brick House. All great!
Current training maxes at 193lb bodyweight:
S: 350
B: 295
D: 375
I started a few months back with a very realistic discounted training max after taking a while off with an injury. I'm happy with the progress made and have been able to nail all the main lifts. However, on Brick House W1D3 today, the front squats killed me! I wasn't even close to getting the prescribed % and reps. I'm taking it as more of a reflection that I suck at front squats rather than a plateau. I think I'll just keep pushing along and use lighter weight on front squat. My other lifts still feel good although the frequency of Brick House I can tell is going to be killer.

I hate front squats. It kills my wrists. Even at low weight. So then I’m pushed into this awkward modified hold.
I’ll get better but it’s gonna be time spent in humble mode. Which sucks.
Started SJ. First day kicked my arse.
Back muscles sore as hell. I got cocky and bumped my weight on some things though.
Giving it a few days and restarting with a little less caution.
I think that “max on a good and Bad day” statement at the front of the workout may be important

Glad I’m not the only one who struggles with front squats. They definitely hit the quads hard which is cool.
What is SJ? Stacked and jacked? That one is intimidating based off ppl saying it’s the hardest one

Yep. Stacked and Jacked. To be fair I bought it before I read that.
