Had it Jan this year… fatigue/cough lingered a month… went back to work after 12 days. . No pneumonia that I know of. I was also in PT from knee surgery so can’t comment on fitness since I could barely walk

I had married a wonderful woman 12 years younger than me. She succumbed to cancer 6 years ago. It is what it is! But, this young man kept me off the couch and throwing baseballs, footballs, riding dirt bikes, etc., and really forced me to stay in good physical condition.

tested positive 7/10, tested negative 11 days later.
as of today, I still cant taste/smell, and sometimes I still feel short of breath, or that I cant take a deep enough breath. I didn't have a super rough go with it though, thankfully. I'd like to be able to smell/taste though, this part sucks.

Had it in Feb. Felt bad day 1, took ivermectin that day, felt 75% better day 2, day 3 took second dose and felt completely normal that night. Stuff works.

I’m 15 days from first day of symptoms.

Went back to gym yesterday. Did some working sets of squats with 275 (normally 295-315). My legs are sore as shite today but outside of my sinuses continuing to drain I feel really good with more and more energy. I also went down from 168 to 159 and now back up to about 162.

I did notice I sweated A LOT more than normal when doing squats but I’m also drinking double (or close to) my normal amount of water.

My resting HR is like 64-66 compared to its normal 58-59. Never had any real respiratory problems.

40 years old amd was not vaccinated but worked out 5-6 days a week before and have an active job.

Got it back in January. Started with typical sinus infection. Never had fever or lost my taste or smell. Had burning sensation on arms and legs and could feel something going from my head down to my feet first two nights as I laid in bed. Pretty damn scary. Got over it after a week.

Was 6’ 205lbs during Covid started exercising pretty serious in April and now down to 180. No real lingering issues although I can tell my breathing isn’t 100 percent.

long term recovery symptoms?
I'm vaccinated. At this point, my only concern with possibly getting it is "long covid". It truly would suck to lose your smell forever. I wish they had some good stats on this stuff.

Covid last fall - in both lungs and double pneumonia - took 2.5 weeks to get back to 50% - another 4 weeks to get 80%. Never lost smell or taste - had horrible acid refkex.

Can’t stand to look at a ribeye steak anymore - prior to covid it was my favorite meal.

I was lucky - worked out a good bit but not in best health - heart rate is still higher than what it was pre covid but getting better. Oxygen is good.

My focus now is compete fitness - stopped all alcohol and caffeine - no more eating out - trying to stay away from processed foods. Eating fish, chicken, greens, etc. lowering sodium as well in an effort to avoid BP meds downs the road.

Changed my workout to more cardio instead of lifting - want to lose another 10 pounds or so.
