Looking for a new workout program to start cutting down and losing inches in waist. So its time to shock my body for a couple months.

Ive done 5 straight months of lifting workouts. Ive completed a couple of PPSA workouts, Dead Cember, Squatober.
I have gained major size in my upper body and legs.

Would you guys do p90x or an insanity program? Or is there something else thats worked.

help me out workout bros

so even without cardio you think the PPSA program will address weight loss/fat loss?

its a great bulking program for sure

Cardio
Diet
That’s what works.

Make sure you’re in a caloric deficit and get tons of protein

Its not the workout it's the diet.

Never done P90x, but I did Insanity quite a few years ago after losing a significant amount of weight in order to get in better shape and tone up my body. It's a crazy hard work out routine and it definitely helped me with my overall stamina and definition.

I've did Insanity from beginning to end, once years ago. After that, I worked their workouts into my regular routine. On days I didn't lift, I did Insanity. IMO its a great workout.

One way to get your diet in check is to do Insanity in front of a mirror with your shirt off. All that jiggling you see makes you not want to eat any bullshite.

you dont need cardio if you diet is on point. but if you want to do cardio do it in the morning a couple days a week and just lift in the afternoon.

but no you do not need cardio for weight loss.

You definitely do not NEED cardio, but adding it to your routine can put you in more of a caloric deficit because of the extra calories you are burning. But it can also make you more hungry, and crave more food.

I need Insanity for the full 9 weeks years ago. It's a little overkill for cardio

That shite is ridiculous. You'll burn a frick ton of calories though.

I did p90x first, and cut from 183 to 173. I waited a few weeks, then started insanity. By the time I finished, I weighed 159. I still have some ab definition at 170, but I've never been as shredded as my last day of insanity.

As others have stated, cardio will not get you cut. Caloric deficit + heavy lifting will lead to leanness.

However, cardio will make your heart stronger and a stronger heart will enable you to lift more.
