I want to try some Dynafish or Li-Ning but i don't know the best way to get them.
FYI, Yowana is now a Dynafish vendor. www.hobbyjogger.com
I have some Li Ning Red Hare 9 Ultra coming soon. Tried Vomero Plus and Evo SL recently and didn’t love either. Vomero Plus foam is great, but upper is too hot, shoe is too heavy, don’t love 10mm drop. Evo SL just didn’t wow me and I don’t know where it would fit in my rotation anyway.

Evo probably will never wow you but it’s a good shoe for the price and durability. I put 600 miles on my pair. I didn’t like at first but after 50 miles they got better. I have a new pair waiting for my foot to get its act together.
Run in them 30-50 miles before dumping them.

Problem is I also have Adios Pro 3, New Balance SC Elite v5, Li Ning Feidian 5 Challenger, Asics Superblast 2.
Not in love with the SB2, but they are fine. I’m mainly looking for a daily/long run shoe. Evo SL leans a little more tempo/speed. Just doesn’t slot in well to my rotation. Gonna keep running in the SB2 and give the Li Ning Red Hare 9 a shot.

Awesome, I love Yowana's shoe content. I may have to grab a pair of the Dynafish when it's time for a new shoe.
My rotation is pretty simple right now. I wear Novablasts on my easy days, EVO SL on my tempo days, and SB2 on my long days.

If anyone wants some Adidas shoes on the cheap cheap, check out the Adidas eBay store.
Evo SL’s and Boston 13’s for $60-80, Adios Pro 4 for $112-$125, some Terrex trail racers for cheap too. Sizes may be limited. Runningshoegeeks has been alert to this sale since yesterday lol.

9.5 miles run walk at a 12:17 pace during the hottest part of the day for heat acclimation

1.5 miles koko head hike ohau.
Right at 2hrs 1500 of elevation change, lots of breaks with the family for pics and breaks for them. I wish I lived where I could grind out hill climbs like this all the time.

10 yesterday AM, 8.5 today at noon. No sunscreen so i got burned a smidge. Zone 2 is a distant memory now, heat and humidity are finally out in full force in bama.

Did 11 today around 8:50/mi pace to cap off another 40 mile week. I don't update the thread as much anymore because the Norwegian style threshold stuff is repetitive and boring (to talk about, not to do) but my fitness is improving. My 3 minute reps are around 6:30/mi pace now and feel really smooth

Do you find the SB2’s make a difference on the long runs? Currently in the midst of a half marathon training plan and looking at options. Currently rotating glycerin’s and EVO SL.

I feel like my legs aren't beat up as badly the next day but that could just be placebo. The SB2s are firm and stable so that could play a role too. I've heard the SB3s are different and more of a soft foam, so be aware of that if you're looking at both.

Felt so good at 60 degrees for 3.5 this morning. HR stayed in the 150s, that's good for me (8:50 pace).

60 degrees this morning? Dude, where do you live?

I did 3.25 this morning before sunrise right at 80 here. It’s the humidity, I am drenched by the end of mile 1.

Just a heads up for anyone in the Baton Rouge area planning on running the Hump Day 2 Miler this afternoon at the BREC park on Perkins. The 1/2 mile race is not for 6:15 PM and the 2 miler will start at 6:30 to try to get the race in before the rain. If you are running it, good luck!
I spent last week in the mountains in North Carolina and the weather was great with lows in the lower 60's and never really got over 80. Down side, it was hilly AF near our cabin so the runs were slow and short. Did hike around 25 miles. First run back in BR on Monday sucked!!!

South of Nashville. Monday and Tuesday were a great but brief break from rain and hot. Biking this morning at 64 was kinda brisk at first, but it ended up being a 2 shower day in the end.

6 last night with the stroller, we got absolutely soaked but daughter loved riding through all the puddles.

Nice, it was a steamy 80 degrees at 6am today. Little jealous

Ran some intervals tonight in the rain with my Xero huaraches. 6 miles total. Finally got a sub 1:30 quarter mile in the flip flops. Couldn’t fricking believe it.
