How has your experience been so far with them?

Looking at getting a pair when I retire my Endorphin Speeds

a few of us have them on here - they are an amazing shoe, they make running fun. They make for a good interval shoe, a good easy day shoe, and a good long run shoe. They feel better after putting miles on them, they really are a great shoe.

I have one pair with 250 miles on them, and another with 80.

Yeah I don't have experience with them but everyone I know who has them raves about them. They were my second choice after the Superblasts.

Reverse Statue tonight to Otey’s in Crestline. Burgers and beers with live music and the wife. 6.5 miles. 10:30 pace and 141HR. Nice hilly zone 2 run. Felt good. Got darker quicker than I thought. Time for the reflective gear and lights again.

EVO SL

I haven’t tried them, but most people love them. One word of caution, I’ve heard they are very unstable. Something to consider if you pronate or roll ankles frequently.

Evo is a good shoe but I would say I prefer Endo speed v1 & 2 if given the choice. Evo (400+ miles) lasted longer for me than Endo (300ish). Both shoes can be used for any run type. Find Evo to be little more squishy and Endo firmer with more snap. The Evo tongue is crap.

One thing I didn't mention - the Evo is not the most stable shoe, if it was a human it would definitely need therapy.

Like I said it's a great shoe, and kinda an all around shoe while also being the best at a lot of things. I prefer the Superblast on longer runs though because they have the pop of the Evo with extreme stability

9.5 early this AM at Point Mallard in Decatur, AL. Easy zone 2 with 2 miles at 130, 5 miles at 140, and finished it at 150. Felt great. Was 56 degrees today in North Alabama. Nice flat course.

Nephew had his junior high meet at 11:30. He ran sub 14:00 over their 2.1 mile course. Little fricker is getting fast.

15 miles at 11:10 pace
hR 133
This weather felt like a shot nitrous, debated on running 20 just cus it felt so good and the miles were clicking off easy.

Just bought a pair of Metaspeed Rays for my upcoming Ironman in November... holy crap they are light. Put them on and they feel weird. Won't wear them until race day because they seem so fragile that they likely won't last very long but Kat Matthews had the fastest run split at the IM World Championships on Saturday wearing them

Superblast

This shoe is still one of the best made shoes in existence. Long runs, tempo, whatever, it works. And the foam is definitely popping enough to give energy back into your output. Unless they drastically change the design, it'll always be my go to shoe. It's so damn wide, it can't help but be stable.

Metaspeed Rays

Is white seriously the only available colorway? What's crazy to me is that the stack height of the superblast is higher than the rays, but it doesn't look like it is.

3.5 at 9:15 per, 48 degrees so I actually wore a shirt. Calf knotted up at 3, that sucked and kinda still does. I gotta figure that thing out. I stretch and massage it, but maybe I need to massage much harder to find the knot in there. Or whatever it technically is. It's not cramping and only part of it hurts, so I assume it's not achilles or a pull.

You have a slant board? Best calf stretch there is.

I don't have a board, but I need one. I have lots of places around the house that are just the right step height to get it feeling good, and I never pass up a good slanted curb. I would say stretching isn't my issue, but I don't really know if that is true. I was a long/high/tripe jumper in high school so I have some calves, but it's been a couple of decades since I've really used them other than hiking/running/climbing stuff. Maybe I need to do some focused calf muscle strength work too. I do squats and dead lifts but I don't do any calf raises.

5 at pace miles (for the Marathon) yesterday afternoon
400m intervals this morning, 8 @ 5:45 pace

Today was the first attempted at running in the morning before work - been slowly bringing my wake-up time back in the morning, today was the first time I woke up early enough to get the run in

Tomorrow will do another 5 miles at pace. I love Marathon Pacing weeks, they are some of my favorites!

6.5 of hills tonight. 130HR mile one. 140HR miles 2-4. 150HR to finish. It gets dark at 6:30 bros. Replaced the batteries in my headlight, but didn’t test the batteries. Guess what? They were fricking dead. Good thing I’ve memorized the sidewalks here over the last 6 yrs. frick me.
