it was my first run of 2021 without a shirt.

Last year I was a little embarrassed running the neighborhood without a shirt. This year I’m strutting around like a peacock. Just need to get some shorter shorts.

That was me with shirts last year. Looking forward to it this year.

I've been rocking 5" inseams for a couple of years now. Don't have it in me to go shorter just yet.

Transitioning into the 5inch shorts was a big step for me. I don't have the courage for the 3 inch.

I bought a pair of 3" running shorts recently and I haven't gotten completely secure in them yet. I felt naked the first time I took out wearing them.

I've actually closeted all of my 5" shorts. The longest I will go is 4" now. No, I probably don't have the legs to pull off the 2", but a 3" works perfectly.

My go to shorts are Lululemon Fast and Free and Nike Fast 4". If it's a 5am run, I'll put the 2" on just for the hell of it. I have no shame in my run game anymore.

Ran my first race in a 3" short and never once felt insecure. I felt liberated.

I keep a pair of 2 in 1 5" shorts for when I bike, that's about it. My wife has started to get annoyed with my quads out in the house.

Something to ponder:

Lafayette utlra runner just finished (this morning) 223 mile journey of the Ouachita Trail. SHE started at Talimena state park and reached the finished line at Pinnacle Mountain State Park in under 95hrs.

Lace up and put your big boy pants on!or your short shorts..

took the leap and ran a 50 miler in these bad boys shirtless. simply liberating.

48F this morning in SE TX. I firmly believe temperatures between 45-55 are ideal running conditions. Shorts and a lightweight long sleeve shirt could not feel any better.

yep that's the sweet spot. But not here in Philly today, feels like is 19* so I skipped morning run. Hopefully go out at lunch for a few.

I can run in long sleeves, tank, or no shirt but for some reason I despise short sleeves.

I prefer it a little warmer, like 50-60, but that is probably because it is always windy where I live.

Gonna do a race simulation tomorrow morning and run at 7 AM.

I can control almost all variables. I can’t control the weather though. Tomorrow morning will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Race day will be 73 and muggy

So weird you say this. I have been feeling the exact same way. The only time I've worn a short sleeve shirt in the last 6 months was during a rain storm. Shorts, SS shirt, rain jacket.

I don't know why, but I hate SS shirts while running now.
