IN! Ordering tonight and I might just start tomorrow if I’m feeling frisky.

W1D1 done. Everything felt pretty good today. I did one set of the DB lateral lunges, then switched to goblet cossack squats. I also subbed the tricep extensions for cable pushdowns. Did the curls, pushdowns and cossack squats as a cluster set to save time. I finished right at 70 minutes this morning. Weighted chin ups felt really good - just ran Hoodie for 3 weeks which has weighted pull ups and chins each week, so that must’ve helped. Cheers guys!

W1D1 done
Great workout. First time deadlifting since my knee pain started in February. Felt really strong. I missed deadlifts and PPSA.

I'll be following along in this thread. Curious how yall like the hip thrusts? I've stopped deadlifting and heavy squats due to herniated discs in my low back but wonder if I might be able to do some thrusts

I did them a few times out of curiosity. They are definitely getting more popular. I am looking forward to doing them on a plan.

I just went through the program and didn’t see any thrusts. I’m a little sad.

Ah yes, I wasn’t looking in cardio.

W1D2 done. Definitely a full body workout this morning. I’ve been doing BB hip thrusts every week for maybe the past 6 months - by no means an expert, but have some experience. Finding the right height bench or block for your body makes a world of difference. I used a standard flat bench with wide pad this morning and I’m 5’10”. High rep sets of 15 like this morning, go lighter than you think you should. Those booty cheeks are gonna burn even with lighter weight. I don’t let the weights touch the floor until the set is over. It keeps more tension in my body and I just feel the muscles working better. I also lift my toes off of the ground and really drive into the ground with my heels. Don’t hyperextend the lower back at the top of the movement. Get to a comfortable hip extension position by contracting the glutes, but there really is no need to extend past that or the lower back will go into hypertension. Hope this helps. Have a good Monday y’all!

Yeah, those look a bit awkward but I always love trying a new exercise.
