So my job currently has me out of the country and I have no access to a gym, weights, etc. I've been jogging, doing push ups, and crunches. What are some other types of work outs I can do? I have just started getting myself back on the fitness train and I am slowly getting bored of the same ol' same ol'. Any recommendations?

Where are you?

Bodyweight tricep extensions.

Bodyweight hamstring curl.

Planche pushups

Wall assisted handstand

Pistol squats

ETA: Chances are there is a bar somewhere near you. Or a strong tree branch. You can even use certain staircases for pullups.

ETAA: Pike pushups, bench dips, dragon walks, crab walks, l-sit, jumping lunges

Can you buy 1 kettlebell? That would open the door to even more exercises than are already mentioned here

Order off brand trx type straps from amazon if you can. With that the possibilities are endless. I got some for 25 bucks that work great.

If you have access to Google, research the terms "300 Workout".  Then click on the Images Tab.  There you'll find fun exercise charts not using equipment, which lead to other fun charts.

Best luck,

I find it boring with body weight routines. I find the key for me is mixing it up every couple of weeks.

Without rings/straps and or a sandbag you have to learn to chase a challenge. Got to learn to be competitive with yourself.
