Deodorant you buy at stores is chogged full of chemicals that you really don't know anything about. It's also a pain in the butt to smear this junk under your arms every day for 40 or 50 years. Wife found out that isopropyl alcohol works just as well. It's cheap and I put it in a finger sprayer and use it every day. I've been doing this now for 10 years with no adverse affects. And no body odor under my arms. Tar and feather me for telling you this, but I'll probably keep using it. I'm sure someone will tell me this is a big NO NO.

Congrats! Maybe you should market it on FB. You could join the Rodan and Fields girls.

Could I get a comment from a farmer or a blue collar worker?

You’re okay now because the whole world smells like this, but no one will want to smell like a hospital in a few months.

I'm never wearing deodorant again as long as I'm on telework status. Drink enough water. Eat a healthy diet. Don't stink.

No it doesn’t. Tried it and stunk to high heavens after a sweaty workout.

Well sweat itself doesn't stink, but the combination of sweat + bacteria on your skin creates a smell so... I could see where alcohol works for a little while but I find it hard to believe that it'd work all day.

Yeah. Don't be a fool, use baking soda.

That is the most creative explanation for smelling of alcohol at work I've ever heard.

Lets take the first two letters of your user name and stretch it out a bit.

It only smells for about 2 minutes, so its safe to go to work. And me being 73, I don't do sweaty workouts. If your mama is still buying your deodorant, there's no need to change.

Alcohol has an extremely high evaporation rate and will be completely gone after 10 minutes

What are the chemicals in deodorant that are bad for you?

I tried one of those aluminum free deodorants that didn’t have all the bad chemicals in them. They fricking sucked, made me stink more, and stained my shirts even more.
I’ve tried to remove most phthalates from my life but Cutting out antiperspirant for a phthalate free deodorant proved a bridge too far.
I’ll stick with my old spice soft solid antiperspirant.

Lol. antiperspirants are the worst, especially when it comes to gumming up the sleeves of your shirts. You need to cycle off that shitty aluminum crap to see the benefits.

I use the Arm and Hammer essentials and I actually sweat LESS than I did with old spice garbage.
