Spectrum southdowns. There’s one other person besides staff. I thought it was going to be like January 1st full of people since it reopened today.

There’s a lot of people who are waiting a while before returning.

There were 20 people there at 11.

Humans are creatures of habit. They were in the habit of working out, now they're in the habit of being lazy.

Yeah, they have lost all momentum and motivation. Too much drinking, drugging, eating and stress has put them on the fast road to middle aged. They figure with the state of the world as it is, what’s the point?

So what happens when they are 25% full. You wait outside until someone leaves?

I'm thinking my Y will be empty given the nancies in my hood. They're setting up swimming lane reservations which could actually be an improvement except assume no lane sharing so maybe difficult to get one. I live 1.5 miles away so I can book last second.

I made an online appointment for Ochsner fitness in Elmwood for the morning. I do not know what to expect.there was something like 75 spots open this AM and there are still about 55 for each hour. Not sure anyone knows about the app yet though.

Too many people figured out they don’t need a gym

I went to an Anytime Fitness today at 4pm. There were three of us in there. Was awesome.

I hope you are right. Based on the amount of home gym equipment sold, I hope a large portion of gym goers will now workout at home. I for one, am not one of these people. I do in fact need a gym to workout. Mainly because its cheap through my insurance, I can use the space at home for something else, and I lack the motivation to workout at home. I have to get out and go somewhere.

Off topic but do you like Spectrum Southdowns just out of curiosity? I worked out there for a while a few years ago and I thought their employees were generally a bunch of rude assholes

The guys at Spectrum Perkins are pretty cool

I've never had any problems with the staff but other than saying hi and bye I really don't interact with them.
