What's the easiest way to check your resting heart rate?

Rest, then take or heart rate
Honestly, when you wake up in the morning, take your pulse for 20 seconds before you really get moving. Multiply by 3.

Check your pulse when you wake up in the morning or before you go to bed if you haven't done any strenuous activity.

I did that this morning as I laid in bed, with two fingers on my neck pulse, and counted 40 beats in 30 seconds
I work out 4-5 times a week with weights and/or cardio. I wonder why it's so high?

14% bf isn't shredded
Depends how it is measured. A true dexa scan 14% is pretty damn close to shredded. 14% on dexa would be about 12% on bodpod and closer to 10% using calipers.

Anything under 15% is pretty healthy. Under 10 and you're most likely pretty ripped up. The body can't sustain under 5% I think for very long.
