> 1500 isn’t TRT

That’s abusing steroids

Unless, of course, you are intentionally overdosing yourself

How do you know this? What if his free T is the high end of normal with a total of 1500? What if he feels great at 1500 and every other lab is completely WNL? To say someone is abusing steroids with a total T of 1500 is retarded.

You serious?

The highest normal range of testosterone is around 1,000.

This dude is 50% above the max while ON TRT.

It isn’t rocket science

I read so many things that are similar to how I’ve felt the last 10 or so years. How much monthly does TRT cost to be doing it for the rest of your life? I’m in my 40s

Get another lab test to see what it reads.

My doctor is one of the most highly regarded HRT physicians in the country and he doesn't agree with your conclusion "doctor".

Taking only one element of a lab result without context of the entire panel, plus patient history and subjective results doesn't indicate that you're well informed on the topic

Actually 1200 and some late teens get above that up to 1400

But it’s about free test levels and all the other levels and how he feels more so than number

And he is an adult not competing in sports, who the frick cares what he does

But 1500 levels is certainly not abuse under any circumstances or under any medical opinion

I feel noticeably better when my levels are >1200 or so. Before that, my free T stayed lower. My last free T was 30 and I plan to keep it there as long as my other labs are all WNL.

Again, anyone who thinks a total of 1500 abuse of steroids has no idea wtf they’re talking about. It’s all about what your body feels better at and tolerates. So far mines tolerated 250mg/ week like a champ. BP, chemistry, lipids, libido, and BF% are better than ever.

Why do people say once you start TRT, you're on it for the rest of your life? What would happen if you were to stop using it? Your T levels would drop, and you'd go back to feeling like crap or would you feel even worse?

You’d more than likely go back to where you were pre-TRT. But I don’t know one person who has started and decided to go back to low T levels. I was sub 300 upon starting so it was a no brainer for me. No OTC supplement was fixing that.

Prolly would never get back to previous levels even if they were low before.

It makes no sense the feds choose to classify this as a controlled substance. Y’all should be able to abuse your bodies like you want to. It’s obvious from the posts that you folks are not concerned about any significant medical needs; just your wants. Y’all should be able to stop being a burden to the already overwhelmed healthcare system and just be able to have at it.

Lots of people on it in here. I've always wondered - what are the common side effects yall are experiencing? Also, how does it work? You go somewhere and they give you a shot at a certain frequency?

Negative side effects? Absolutely zero. Test deficiency is actually more harmful to the body than a T on the higher end. Positive sides for me were increased energy, mood, drive, and libido. Helped tremendously with fat loss also.

Varies per case but my urologist (Actual MD), not some miserable passive aggressive cvs pharmacist, prescribes mine. You fill the prescription and do SubQ or IM injections 1-2x/wk.

A TRT clinic = $200-$300/Month

Urologist/PCP = $40 for 3 month refill using GoodRx

And you give yourself the shots? Man that would freak me out but I'm a puss with needles

Yeah it’s a really small needle, almost the size of an insulin needle. My wife did it for me at first but i got used to it. It’s routine now.
