Where do you live to be comfortable working out in a garage? I'm sweating profusely in my gym and they have the temperature set around 73.

I'm making a home gym in an empty bedroom when we move back to Alabama in June. The garage would be unbearable.

Force USA does some cool stuff but it’s too much for me. There is a sweet spot between simplicity and versatility. I feel like Force USA is too complex.

I'm in Central Arkansas. I have a couple of fans in the garage. They work well enough.

Later this year or next spring, I'm going to build a shop and move all my equipment out of the garage. I'll add a mini split to the shop. That'll make it easier in the winter, too.

I have a concept 2 rower, echo bike, power rack, pull up bar, bench with about 400 lbs of plates. Then an assortment of dumbbells up to 80s and a set of kettle bells.

I recently put in stall mats across the entire boat port area where my gym is and removed a section of my shelves to create more space.

I want to add a cable tower and have been looking at the plate loaded one from bells of steel. Worried my wife who occasionally works out in there as well will hate having to load the plates, so contemplating picking up a used Tonal system off fb marketplace instead. It goes up to 250 lbs apparently which would be fine for the accessory work I'd be doing on it.

Does anyone have any of the cable tower machines in their garage gyms?

I bought the Force USA G12 and could not be happier with it. It was a "buy once, cry once" purchase, but my wife and I love the machine. We added a set of plate weights and the bench with preacher curl pad and leg developer. The plates are fine, but I would not recommend the bench. It is pretty big and heavy. It has wheels but my wife still struggles to move it around.

i need to fix sand down the hdpe on the inside of the front spotter arms from rep i brought and install the front feet. this summer im going to do that, drill out holes to use bands on the bottom member of my rack as its the old R3 style fully welded rack from EliteFts that didnt have them back in the day

I also am going to build a seal row bench very soon to go across the front safeties

this summer buying the foldable GHD and buying some type of the new cable systems that allow for really hard rotational work. prolly the ancore or the rayofi. leaning rayifo but still researching

I'm going to order the matador attachment for my Rogue wall mount rack so I can do dips.

My last purchase was a Sorinex leg curl/leg extension machine. Some are against smith machines, but I'd like to get one.

I bought the leg extension/curl machine from Titan. Love that thing.

When I build my shop and move my equipment, I plan on buying a leg press/hack squat machine and sneaking in there without the wife seeing it.
