My weight has been 191-193 past few months.

So say i trimmed a smidge more and my goal would be 380... that seems so far fetched for me to realistically achieve (naturally).

I hit 305 this morning. My immmediately goal is hitting 315 sooner than later. Still, 65 lb gap seems enormous on bench.

Sidebar, I think i'm officially in the 1000 lb club. Don't think i've ever deadlifted enough prior to be an official member. DL up to 365 now. Would really be nice getting that number up closer to 400. My form has gotten a bit better but i still find myself trying to perfect it.

I weigh 168. My current max is ~225 (190 for three sets of five)

I’ve been lifting heavy for most of this year. In January I struggled with 100 pounds for five reps. I had really good muscle memory so I’m sure my quick rise to “two plates” is not going to stay consistent.

But if I wanted to get to a 335 pound bench press, I think I could do it. Would take gaining weight and focusing on the lift, but I don’t think it’s a far off goal by any means.

So I guess I’d have to add to the max since I’d gain weight getting there. 350? 360? Don’t see why not.

going from 225 to 350 is a long road man.

The most I’ve ever done is 335 @ 195 lbs not too long ago, but at my age, unless I started juicing, there is no way I will hit 390.

My 3 lift total today is ~1065 at 48.

If I started hitting squats and DL more regularly, I could get past 1100 again.

Highest was 1165 three years ago.

In HS I weighted 155 and benched 310 twice the summer before my senior year.

I'll never sniff that total again though.

Personally for me at a bodyweight between 180-200...hell no. 1.5 or 315 for reps...prolly but still anlong ways to go to get there.

When I weighed 175 I hit 290 on bench. I have no desire to train like that anymore. As I get older I prefer to be leaner than thicker.

I literally just achieved this goal yesterday. Other main lifts are about above average, but for some reason my chest is just insanely strong for my size.

Weigh 170 and hit a rep at 340.

My personal best was 415 on a pause rep when I weighed 215. Probably could have gotten 430 on a bounce rep.

That was 18 years ago, and I have no reason nor desire to ever lift like that again.

The correct answer is No.

You should be able to bench your body weight 10-15 times and max out once at about 1.25-1.5 times your body weight.

It was a long time ago. I benched 355 one time when I was about 27 years old and strong as an ox. Weighed about 170 soaking wet then. Lived in the gym. I couldn't bench a toothbrush right now. Too many injuries.

I've done it. 435 at 205. Was on Pace to do it again at 32 last year but got hurt from squats and poor mobility. Still got 355 as an opener speed at around 210. Hit 370 for an easy triple in training leading up.

I did 30 at 195 when I worked at Stennis Space center in their Spring Games, which was the top score in that event in 2017.

Best ever was 33, and done by some 155lb dude a few years prior.
