You're right everyone is exactly the same. This is true for every person who's ever exercised

This set up right here

The players only last close to a year b/c I sweat so much it gets thru the armband. Sweat / moisture ruin everything, so I buy the refurbs off of eBay for about $20.00.

Because I don't like listening to my feet strike the ground for an hour.

I set a mile PR listening to 2 Chronicles Just saying.

I’ve got a few pairs of blue tooth ear buds

Last pair I bought is water resistant and I love them. I’ve had a few pairs ruined by rain and sweat

This is like the guy that wouldn’t leave a thread alone where he was saying there’s no difference in getting your sugars from fruit or a candy bar.

From my understanding Zapp was a legit runner in his day and I mean no disrespect, but it’s funny on that insistence to a bunch of guys in their 30s.

I never ever ran with music while training in HS and college and later when I still thought I could run fast. I agree music doesn't help focus when you are trying to nail half-mile splits.

Now I occasionally run with music, but I don't run as nearly as much, I'm never setting another PR and rarely run races anymore.

Goals, distance, workout, etc. are different, whatever helps someone get through their workout is fine with me.

I got a pair of compression shorts with a phone pocket. Works great. I also use RayCon headphones which do a good job of sticking in my ear

I do my cardio after I lift so I’m on the treadmill. Yes, it’s boring af but 20-30 a day never killed anyone.

For all eternity, save for the past 10 years, people ran without listening to music. And I'm the psycopath.
