Never stop a program that's working. I learned that the hard way.

If nsuns is working keep running it. Just understand it is not a long term solution.

I'm going to try a powerbuilding program. Not sure which one. Might try a 531 variant.

I don’t know if I qualify for this thread, but I started Dogg Crapp yesterday. Tomorrow is my bicep/forearm/calves/hamstrings/quads day. I just really like how time effective it is since I typically work out at lunch. I traveled this week so I am making it up on a weekend but I’ll probablu keep a MWF split with a yoga class and a cardio/functional body weight day in between.

Bro, if you think DC training is time effective, you ain't doing it right. I spent like 2 hours in the gym.

What? Really? I never sent now be then an hour when doing it.

Sometimes on squat widow Maker days I would lay on the floor for a while but I never took to long especially if I was using mostly machines that day

Yes I am. I want some bodybuilding in there too though. My physique was shite on a powerlifting routine. Biceps and shoulders we're meh.

I started BBB but I'm up for whatever.

But If you’re just starting keep it simple if you don't want to do the challenge! Do your jumps/throws, 531 sets, fsl or bbb, one to two more assistance lifts, and get your hard conditioning in two weekly. Don’t over complicate it.

BBS challenge is pretty bad arse too.

Need halp. Whenever doing a power clean, should I drag the bar across my shins like a deadlift? It’s really starting to hurt. The fast movement of the bar hurts a lot more than the steady move of a deadlift.

should be close to your shins, but i have never subscribed to the theory it should rub your shins. Deadlifts either.

Keep it close but do not drag the bar on cleans.

As far as bar speed, the fast/ explosive movement should happen once the bar passes the knees during the transition phase

Also, your hips should stay slightly further back during the initial pull on power cleans vs deadlifts. That allows one to extend the hips more explosively during the transition phase
