Week 2 started with a bang!

Had to do my squats in the smith machine because yet again the squat rack was hogged

The drop sets were rough.

On w2 d1, is the cardio a superset? It’s listed as A B but doesn’t say SS

Welcome back! Hope you had a good Lent!

I did the cardio as a super set as well.

I have been meticulously watching what I eat and increasing my cardio. I am down 8 pounds in the last few weeks. But I let the festivities this weekend get the best of me, the scale didn't change this morning when I weighed...but I didn't gain!!

W2D1 complete


I read the cardio as a SS also. The burn was real on that for sure. I had to pause for a few seconds in the 2nd set before I could finish the 20 reps.

yea ill be honest, the last 10 or so reps of the lateral raises on 2nd superset where more just half arse swings half way up just to feel the burn more and more.

and yea aint too many middle aged men running to jump on a 20 rep breathing squat program

My wife was complaining about me this morning saying I always get so annoyed with people in the gym in the mornings because they hog the machines and weights. I said I know I get aggravated a lot, but let me have a home gym and it will all end!

I ran big bench Christmas and it was a good program. I didn’t see really aggressive gains to 1rm from benching 5x a week like squatober put on my squats tho.

W2 D1 finished. I struggled with that last set of bench. Can definitely feel the cut starting to affect me.

Those deads were a doozy. I can see the heavy lifts paying off. Just like last week, the last set was my max at the end of Deadcember. And today I was getting it with ease.

I was very over zealous on the rows/curls SS. My arms were hurting

W2D2 done yesterday, looking forward to off day/light cardio today.

Shoulders and back slightly sore today. I did the band pull apart and the rev laterals Super sets 3x20 for the cardio.

W2D1 was yesterday and I had a sudden case of not being able to read which wrecked my bench press for the day. Ended up trying to bench 280 instead of 260, I felt that immediately and was wondering why I was so weak.

Rest of the workout went great.
