I’m already looking forward to next Friday where I get to do the BB shrugs in my own gun instead of Planet fitness.

W1D4 done. Damn that workout. 85 mins to finish. 200 shrugs was so rough. My son was using the dumbbells so I used a 45lb KB, one hand at a time. My back is going to feel that. I started with 50, then 5 sets of 30

I was way over 55 minutes but it was a great workout and I felt the squats were a little on the lighter side but don't worry tomorrow comes the pain.

Today is my first Big Pump Friday. I’m only halfway through bench but I am loving it so far.

I think this is the first ppsa workout I’ve done that doesn’t have legs.

Okay w1d3 down. I decided to warm up with barbell Bulgarians again before squatting, and used my 1rm instead of tm for back squats. Then the chest supported db rows and hammer curl/pushdown superset proceeded to kick my arse. I think I have a bit of a cold too which didn’t help. At any rate I got up to 35s in each side Bulgarians 5/leg; should hit a plate in a couple weeks and I think that pyramidding up from empty bar to 135 will be a better warmup for leg days moving forward than purely empty bar/Bodyweight stuff

W2D1- got an early start this week waiting to go to Easter lunch. Not bad, nothing like the Friday burn fest

I’ve heard people talk about big pump Friday before but I am a believer now. I can’t wait for next Friday.

There was 20 front raises and 20 laterals but not super sets. If those were SS, I would have been crying.

W1D4 done: the Arnold press to facepulls superset was my favorite; my biceps seem to be getting thicker rather than a bigger peak from all these hammer curls. Db shrug pump is something serious by the end of the workout.

Now for Turkey and dressing!

Is it known that hammers are best for overall thickness? I’ve always had good peak but never much thickness. Is hammers best for that? I’ve always been told triceps are best for arm size

What’s up boys, good to see y’all holding it down, hope y’all all had a wonderful family and Christ filled Easter

W2d1 done, loved the dips, been a while since I had done them. Had to check 2 or 2 times to make sure I was on right program lol. Caught me off guard.

I owe d3&4 from week 1. Will have to make them up sometime during month

Tonight I did add calf raises between squats and bench, trying to get 100 reps with 5 sec stretch 4 days a week this month and 150 next month. Trying to have them look good

Also add in weighted wide pull up hangs for time supersetted with the pullovers. AA programmed chins with pullovers in one of the programs(can’t remember which) and it really helped my back a ton so adding the hangs in to get that tractioning effect that I love and my back loves

Thank you man, really was. Cut out all sources of news and literally tried to become oblivious to the world outside my friends and family. Friends and family(as much as possible) that are negative , cut out too.

Been amazing the positive energy I have had and how much better my relationship with the wife has been. Last couple days father in law has been here and noticed his negative energy rubbing off on north eh wife and I but he leaves tomorrow so about to kick this week in the dick.

Gonna stay off the other boards for a while, especially any that dwells into politics, don’t want that toxic bullshite from all sides getting me down.

Here is to a glorious pool season of setting squat PRs and cannonball height records
