Let's get a good list of songs going. The type of music that gets you through that last set (sorry cardio bunnies...this thread's not for you). Hip hop, metal, EDM, you name it.

I'll start with 2:

Black Sabbath -- Iron Man
Metallica -- Turn the Page

Eh, I like what I like. I've got music from pretty much every genre and will listen to it all during a workout depending on mood.

Name the genre and I'll drop a workout playlist.

I wouldn’t exactly call Yela, Jelly, Strug, Haystack country rap. I’d take them any day over what rap has become.

I don't use it as a pejorative. Yelawolf is a legit rap artist who's had a country edge lately.

Struggle/Jelly are more pure country rap, but it can be done well.

Lately it’s been Silverstein, unearth and underoath but I can listen to anything from 80s country to metal core on any given day.

I was posting artist plus song name and meant Yelawolf's song Down. Down is a good band, though.

Other rap favorites (limiting to rap because there are just too many for each genre):

Lil Wayne--Let the beat build, 6 foot, 7 foot, Fireman, Go DJ.

Joyner Lucas--I don't die (needed one recent song, right?).

Jadakiss--Why, Kiss of death, You can see.

Nipsey Hussle--Rap (deleted), Hussle and Motivate, Right hand to God.

Outkast--hard to go wrong here.

If you count Rage Against the Machine, like half their catalog.

Rick Ross--Hold me back, War ready.

Run the Jewels--Close your eyes.

Schoolboy Q--Hands on the Wheel, Man of the year.

Mobb Deep--Shook ones pt 2, Survival of the fittest, Outta control remix.

Tech N9ne--Lots of songs.

Three 6 Mafia--Still Fly,Break da Law 95.

Travis Barker--Lets go.

Waka Flocka Flame--Bustin at em.

Webbie--This me.

Westside Connection--Bow down.

Xzibit--Meaning of life, Multiply.

Young Buck--Get Buck.

50 Cent--most of GRODT, I get money.

Mgk--Till I die remix w Bone Thugs.

Kevin Gates--I dont get tired.

Kendrick--DNA, Humble.

Kanye--Jesus Walks, The glory, All of the Lights.

Jon Connor--In my sleep, Someone like me.

John Cena--The time is now.

Jay-Z--99 problems.

J. Cole--Who dat, Fire Squad.

Ice Cube--When will they shoot, Wrong gentleman to fudge with.

Ok, that's H and beyond from my collection with as many limits as I can put in.

I’ve been using the adrenaline workout playlist on Spotify. It’s a lot of metal.

I pretty much exclusively listen to metal and rap in the gym.
