I go long periods of time without drinking (I have gone years at times), but occasionally, yes, I enjoy it. My posts shouldn't be read as some kind of personal bias, though. There are obviously some benefits to moderate drinking, regardless of someone's like or dislike.

I didn't say you conflated them. But you did jump to "large amounts" when I clearly set the context of moderation. Implicit in the extra emphasis of "moderate" are the problems that come with "large amounts" of drinking. It was an unnecessary and extreme absurdity to jump to.

If you bother to read and understand instead of get defensive about your drinking habit, you'll see I was using data on large amounts of drinking to make a point about moderate drinking.... so yes, I am within your context of moderation. You'll also see I repeatedly said you'll be fine drinking in moderation, just don't get any delusions about health benefits.

You went far outside the context. You didn't use any data, and you didn't make any points. You attempted a number of subtle jabs -- all meaningless.

Damn, you thought of the Ranch Water, only the faster growing drink of 21-30 year old females?

That's wild man! Thanks!

I had a couple of those recently. Definitely the best of the "ultra-lites" I've tried.

IPAs are nasty. You’d be doing yourself a solid just dropping them in general.
