max devil press with remaining time, 40# dbells

Rest 1 minute between rounds

Core work

Partner WOD:
20 rope climbs
4000M Row

1 partner does a rope climb, the other rows 200M.
Switch until all 20 rope climbs and the 4K is rowed.

I couldn’t pull at all on the rope due to the still healing bicep so I hit.

10 RFT
40 sec Assault Bike
8 knee to elbow

Couldn’t link the knee to elbow due to the bicep so I did 8 Strict each round.

Haven't posted my WODs in a bit..

Went in and did my own thing today. The goal was mostly to work on technique while still getting a good workout in. I suck at push jerks.. I don't drop down much and sometimes don't push my head through. Need a lot of work.

EMOMx5
3 Squat clean 135lb
Rest 3 min

EMOMx5
3 push jerk 95lb (this could have been heavier, I think)
Rest 3 min

EMOMx5
3 hang clean & push jerk 95lb

is there a reason for doing this?

I like things like that to just see what I could do. I dont think there is a way in hell I could do it in under 70 minutes

It's a SEAL friend (Chad) of Dave Castro who was killed recently.

Chad did this workout as prep to climb Mt Aconcagua: 1000' step-ups to a 20" box wearing a weighted vest.

What captain Ron said, it’s a hero wod for a recently deceased service member.

My calves are hurting like a MFer from that one.

Meh, stepping to a 20” box doesn’t hurt my knees, 24” is a different story. Short people probs.

Taking the day off. Our annual "Fitmas" is tomorrow. Usually a long, terrible workout

2015 - 1,000,000m row by the entire gym
2016 - 30k bike/row/ski
2017 - Partner (30min run+30min row+30min bike then - if I remember right - 100 burpees, 100 deadlifts, 100 powercleans)
2018 - ????

I’d never finished w 45

I had a 20 lb vest. I must have some kind of muscle imbalance. My right hip and quad were miserable, my left was fine until the last 200
