My best in short bursts in 1:22-1:24. Can’t hold that for more than 300, though.

I forgot about those numbers on the screen. When I am just comfortably rowing in warmup, I am usually between 2:04 and 2:10. 19-21 pace.

Rowed a 500 in 1:28 once, but it kinda sucked.

Did the deal today that Alx talked about:

Rowed 1:50 on all but the next to last. Left me a little more than a minute for the kettlebell. Ended up with 111 KBS in the four minutes of em. My forearms were on fire.

Workout of the Day

A.) EMOM X 5 (10:00)
M1: 20-40sec Wall sit
M2: 20-40sec Handstand on wall

B.) For time:
20-18-16-14-12-10-8-6-4-2
Alt. DB Clean and Jerk (50/35)
Box Jump Overs

My arm is starting to improve significantly. I did OH DB hold at 15lb in Part A, and that seemed to warm up my arm enough to handle the DB C&Js at 35lb. Finished 11:30.

That said, frustrating day. Got to bed late af last night, still working around an injury, but now my knees seem to be flaring up like they usually do a couple of times a year... Painful, but I can work through it.. just makes WODs suck that much more. It's always something.

Fighting off a head cold, been sneezing all day with a runny nose and dehydrated as frick

arse to grass squats today

Still was able to knockout a 275 double and a 295 single

Then 10 mins EMOM

Racked kettlebell lunges 35lbs in each hand for 20 feet

Conditioning

2 min timer
200 meter sprint
5 deadlifts at 185

Any left over time is for rest, 10 rounds

Workout of the Day

Partner WOD

20min AMRAP

1 Rope climb
8 SA DB OH Lunge (50/35)
8 Burpees over DB
8 SA DB OH lunge
(switch every round)

Did rope pull-ups from the floor instead of climbs. 35lb on the DB.

The lunges after burpees were the real killer. Before burpees, 35lb felt pretty easy each round. After burpees, it felt like I was Atlas holding up the world with one arm


Got 9 rounds + 23. Felt good today. Knee still hurts, but the left arm is coming along nicely. Hopefully I can get back to snatching and hanging from a bar next week

Started working on handstands and handstand walks.

Getting close to 10’ on the hands and I just really started trying this past week.
