For Time
30 DB Burpee Step Ups
Run 400 Meters
20 DB Burpee Step Ups
Run 400 Meters
10 DB Burpee Step Ups
Run 400 Meters
Did this with 50# dbells and 20” box.......Jesus that was awful.
Also did 2 snatched every 2 minutes for 10 rounds. Worked up to 175#

Instead of slam balls we did ground to overhead with 45lb plate.

I got 335. I really wanted to PR but it wasn't there. I tried my current PR of 355 and just didn't have it. 2 attempts and both failed just above the knee. Guess that's what I get for trying to PR deadlifts after a week vacation.
Today's WOD is a running WOD.. I'm starting to get excited about running WODs because it gives me a chance to work on running, which is probably my weakest point. It hurts and it sucks but I know I need more running to get better at it.

Monday is usually squat day. We had a clean/jerk emom instead, and squats today. Glad to see him mix it up. Going to try to go 4 straight, as my vacation starts Saturday,

I tried them. If I took it before an afternoon workout it was like those steroid shots you get at the doctor where you are cleaning the house at 2am.

30:22.. almost the slowest time of the day, but I did the whole thing so it's a win in my book.
ETA
I can't do PWOs with CrossFit. Idk if it makes my blood pressure too high or what but I get insanely lightheaded, see stars, blacking out, etc.. when I try any sort of caffeine before a WOD. The only ones I could do are heavy, low volume days like yesterday. But caffeine in the afternoon jacks my sleep up anyway.
