Workout of the Day

Every 2 Minutes x 5 Sets

3 Reps Back Squat (build) (20x1)

10 Rounds For Time:

15 UB Wall Balls (20/14)
2 Bar Muscle Ups
(15 Minute Time Cap)


Worked up to 235 on squats.

14lb wall balls and pull-up negatives for part B. First time I have been able to do negatives consistently enough to do them as part of a WOD.

Rucked 2.5 hours on this last Saturday with 50 lbs in my backpack. My calves and shoulders are killing me still. Might cut it down to 1 hour this upcoming Saturday instead and go easier on myself and body.

Bought some new black baggy pants ( LINK ) for my home gym workouts and loving them so far. Really comfy and won't rip (at least not yet).

Started a new pre-workout formula this morning and not really sure I'm loving it. My poops tho, lol. So creamy brown.

Hit the 5pm class at GCF after a heavy bench and tricep session at lunch.

15 min AMRAP
3 strict HSPUs
3 strict press 95/65
3 strict pullups

14+2 Rx

I was moving pretty well until the 11 min mark or so and really hit the wall in round 14.

That shite sucked. I didn’t want to get back onto the rower in R3.

Cap + 30 Rx

Anything that starts with some shite to get the HR up before another movement sucks arse.

27/21 Cal Row
21 Push Press (135/95) (115/80) (95/65)
AMRAP TTB

Decreasing weight each round. Score is total TTB

45 Rx and that was with me going unbroken on all push presses.

I'd rather keep the weight the same and decrease the Row Cals every round.

I went 23 TTB in R1 and 11 in R2 & R3 each.

I would rather do today’s workout 3x in a day than the clean and bbjo one 1x.

Yeah, agreed. I could keep my heart rate and breathing under control during this one, even went unbroken on push press in the 3rd round.

not many workouts completely defeat me, but the one this morning did

95# bar

20 PC
20 thrusters
20 push press
20 hang power snatch
20 OHS
20 front squats

every minute, do 5 burpees (even on the 0:00)

looks easy enough, as my plan was to do the burpees in 20 seconds, then do 10 reps each minutes

that plan fell completely apart by the push presses

16:23 and then collapsed on the ground

Anything that forces you to do burpees EMOM while doing other shite is going to completely frick me up. 5 burpees when fresh takes me 15 seconds, when tired it'll be like 45 seconds

Run 200M
20 DUs
9 Hang PCs

I went over the cap because I’m still working on DUs and I rowed 1200M, 400M and 200M instead of running.

I did hit a PR set of unbroken DUs in the middle of the workout at 30. I could have hit a bigger set, but it closed out a set of 40.

Yesterday was Annie on the Run.

100-80-60-40-20 DU
50-40-30-20-10 Situps
200M run after every round of situps.

I halved the DUs because I'm still working towards consistent large sets.

Hit a PR unbroken set of 36 DUs somewhere in the middle, but tweaked the calf I tore 5 years ago in the later DU rounds and took a DNF.

25 Minute AMRAP

60m DKB Front Rack Walking Lunge (yellow/pink)
AMRAP Row

Partner 1 Rows while partner 2 does the walking lunges. Partners keep track of their own rounds and combine scores at the end.



We got 390 meters, 321 calories. I did blue KB, which is one less than yellow, one higher than pink.
