My first open workout was 14.1, 30 doubles then some snatches. I did 31 doubles in 10 minutes. I almost threw up.

That's why I will not even try them. The scaled looks like a good workout for me, and that's all I want from this anyway.

Well, I'm gonna get me 220. I'm great at DU's, so I'll just hope to get through the OHS quickly so I can get the best time I can on the second set of Dubs. I'm close to RMU's. Have BMU's, unfortunate that I most likely won't have a chance to get that far.
I've improved so much on dubs over the last year, and was looking forward to them in the open. But then, DC had to throw some bewlshit in there

Got 452 Rx. Had 4 seconds left to attempt a BmU and ran out of time. Round 3 of the DU got brutal!!
One thing I wasn’t prepared for was how my core had to stay right on all of the exercises. I was expecting to be able to catch my breath on the RMU but that’s where I started to get gassed. The whole wod is anaerobic

That's awesome, congrats. I've heard a few people say that same about the RMU only to be surprised like you were so don't feel too bad.
I was going to attempt today but I'm spent today and will be spending the rest of the weekend trying to figure out doubles. I haven't dove too far into MU's either but I can get a few if I try hard enough. I just cannot get dubs straight to save my life, it's infuriating really and pisses me off that it'll hinder my score. Why did God curse me with being so uncoordinated?
I can handle the scaled version of this workout easily. But, I don't want to be scored behind everyone else so i'm just going to bite the bullet on Monday and take whatever DU score I get & have a shitty score.

Then switched to scaled for 12 pull ups, 100 dubs, 14 snatches.
I have an Achilles problem on my right foot. I feel like I need OxyContin. I don’t think I’ve ever done more than 150-180 doubles in a workout. 300 was turrible

They posted a pic of everyone's reps today at the box...no one had less that 100 DU. I'm glad I'm going Monday so my score won't be up there shite I'd be happy as hell with 53 honestly. My poor rope has been thrown halfway across my garage multiple times the last 2 days out of frustration.

My first DU was yesterday, so I'm okay with it. Honestly I started getting the rhythm down a little more toward the end. Even though I was fatigued I was stringing 3-4 together. More practice and a bit of weight loss and I think I could get them down pretty well.
I practice squatted 115 a few times. 20 was gonna be tough as hell.

I thought the scaled was going to be easy. Pretty disappointed in my results. Didn't get past the second round of singles in round two. May do it again this weekend.

Best way to approach this workout if you struggle with DUs is this..
1 single
Big jump/1 DU
Reset and do it over and over.
You can knock out 12-15 per minute and get back to the DUs at the 7-8 min mark.

I got 4 bar muscle ups. Double unders were fine for me. The ring muscle ups slowed me down.

Broke 2 loaner ropes during the WOD. Had to stop DU’s. Was doing them in sets of 50 first 2. 3 sets of 33 + 1 on the last. Got through all MU with 2 sets of six. Doing it again Monday. New rope will be here tomorrow. Set screw came off the first rope in the 2nd 100. 2nd rope was just a shifty gym rope that broke in half at the bottom of my last set. It sucked. But I feel like I can get to OHS in 2nd rd Monday. That’s a gasser fa sho
