I know that’s nuts. $56 for 1/2 Kilo? It used to be like $20 for full Kilo. Cocaine is going to be cheaper than creatine soon

Damn. Haven't used it since the 90s. That's steep.

Did we go back in time to 1995 when Nebraska football was relevant??

What you mean? Are you saying it’s not useful?

Nebraska football was relevant because of steroids, an excessive amount of cut blocks that would get flagged all day today and the notorious beer option scheme which is still very difficult to defend.
Creatine helps but it's not going to create the 4th best college football team of all time.

Amazon has it and in November last year it was $41.

That's the one I use as well.

I use the CON-CRET Creatine HCL I get it wherever it is cheapest online. It varies month to month.

On a related note what do you know about the creapure creatine?
I've seen some sensational claims that it's 99.99% pure compared to most monohydrate powders being "only" 99.9% pure
Seems like nothing but they claim the .09% makes a difference
I have a difficult time believing that's anything other than a marketing/sales pitch to sell overpriced creatine
Also of note - Ghost supplements replaced their "size" supplement with this creapure and it didn't move the needle on the price (granted it's already an expensive muscle building supplement)

With creatine you are going to be dealing with a bunch of different countries of origin of manufacture which is going to impact things like standards and internal and external quality controls etc. I wouldn't want anything from China for example. Who knows what is in it?

Their protein and supplement mixes are full of stuff like Sucralose, Carragennan, Yellow #5, Red #5, Gum blends (Cellulose, Xanthan) just other artificial colors, dyes, and flavorings and sweeteners stuff that has no business in a health supplement.

What about their unflavored "size" supplement? It doesn't appear to have any of those things.
Posted on 2/10/23 at 4:02 pm to Powerman
Of course because it’s unflavored.
Posted on 2/10/23 at 4:08 pm to ronricks
Other than protein powder I usually stick to the unflavored stuff
I'll probably switch to unflavored protein powder as well

I looked at their line of products a while back they have some great products unfortunately they use a bunch of artificial sweeteners, colors, flavors etc in their blends. Most people don’t care but for me I try to avoid that stuff at if possible. It’s not always possible though.

Yeah it's a shame because their flavors are usually solid. I just prefer to avoid or severely limit all sweeteners other than stevia
