Get out and run. Start at 5-10 minutes, and increase 10% each week. Every 4th week is a recovery week, so reduce by 20%, then resume.

I do run, trying to help out someone that does not.

I am currently doing this one. Been a few years since I've run, so I decided to start over. If you are active, this is a good one, but you could find other plans that are 8-12 weeks long.

Just downloaded this. My problem is not endurance, but my left hip flexor gets super tight after about 5 minutes of continuous running. Hopefully this app will keep me disciplined to run/walk until my hip gets stronger/ loosens up.

Thanks for the rec. I do HIIT/gym in the morning but then sit at a desk for most of the day. I suspect over the years I have not done enough stretching for my hips and sitting has shortened my flexors. A year or so ago I wanted to get back in to running. I went way too hard my first run back and I guess strained my hip flexor. Has been tight ever since. I'll try the yoga along with slowly adding time to my runs.

C25k is a great app. I was a fat frick who couldn’t run for 90 seconds when I started 4-5 years ago and now I regularly run 8-10 miles for long runs on the weekend and have completed multiple HMs
