Go to a physical therapist, not a chiropractor. Peak Performance is a good one.

Jon Hymel is outstanding. Never used him to be adjusted, but to dry needle horrible shoulder knots. He is the chiro for lsu track & field…he’s more “treatment” than anything… and he helped me rehab my shoulders from years of competitive swimming, as well as rehabbed my tendency to be so quad dominant in my training.

Don’t go to a chiro. Find a PT that has a rack and weights in their clinic. They can perform the “adjustments” you want, and help lockdown your form to prevent future injuries. The top two I can think of are Delta PT and Moreau on Sherwood if you are in BR

Get Off My Nerves Chiro in BR on Coursey or off Range in Denham.

They also have:
LED Therapy
Ultrasound Therapy
Lumbar and Cervical Decompression
and your standard Chiro adjustments

NO fan of chiropractors. There's a reason plaintiff attys use them. Peak Performance PT on Perkins, next to Spectrum, did a great job on both my torn rotator cuff & pinched nerve in my lower back. And they use LSU coeds majoring in PT as trainees, strictly monitored. So the visuals are good motivators. FWIW.

Worst chiro I’ve been to. Didn’t listen to me at all what my issues were and just went through the routine.

Who did you see?

I’ve had 2 separate issues the last 4 years and they corrected both in one visit.

About 20% of Chiropractors are worth a shite. If you're lucky enough to find out they can be beneficial but just know most of their treatment is temporary pain.

Best way to look at it is that chiros are immediate relief so that you can transition to a PT as most of the issues that a chiro fixes are muscular in origin. A good chiro will also work on the muscles.

The chiro I go to sometimes (Dr. Black at Central Spine & Sports Rehabilitation LLC) is very good at his job and I recommend him.
