If you are someone that struggles with one of these bowel diseases/serious gut issues, id highly encourage looking into an all meat or ketogenic diet. This diet very much improved an inflammatory issue I was having that was causing arthritis in my hands. Ive been on it for 3 months now

I bought Shawn Baker's Carnivore book a couole of weeks ago. I plan on doubg Carnivore either mid September or waiting until after Squatober.

I want to see how I feel after 30 days and then 60 days.

There is a rough adaptation period, just be ready for it

I know I've said it numerous times now, but I can't help but notice more and more about people having gut/ GI issues lately...myself included. Maybe I'm sensitive to it because it's affecting me...

I started doing the elimination diet a year ago, and have ended up on the Paleo/ Carnivore diet, and nearly all symptoms are gone. And I was already on a very clean diet - what I cut out that, that I felt made the biggest difference, is wheat & high fiber.

The carnivore diet is very to the point - there's no ingredient watching there.

Thats awesome. I luckily have not ever had gut issues. If I did, id be on this diet full time.

I also am aesthetically the best looking ive ever looked in my adult life. I am legitimately under 10% body fat. I am very active, play tennis, do calisthenics workouts 5x a week...but this diet makes it so easy to keep a lean physique. I have to force myself to eat just to not lose weight. I also actively crave my steak every day. Never gets old

I've heard to expect the complete opposite.

I have switched on and off of it.

I have severe autoimmune disease issues that cause all kinds of inconveniences for me.

When I go and stick to carnivore, 99.9% of my health issues go away and I drop weight like a champ.

I am just a weak minded person when it comes to carbs and alcohol so I tend to fall off frequently.

The first week or two for me is always rough.
- Low Energy (getting used to running on fat and protein vs all three macros)
- Mind fog (I feel retarded during this period when it comes to focus and critical thinking)
- Diarrheas' (only last a week or so)....after that, I have zero bloat and only pass stool once every 2-3 days....its nice freeing up that time..

After that, it is all down hill smooth sailing until someone puts a zebra cake or a nice beer in front of me haha

This ^^^^^^^^^^^

I think Joe Rogan described it best. I'm paraphrasing here. "It was like South American jungle roads being washed out in mudslides."

I can attest to that. With me, it's explosive, and it's frequent. Especially mornings. I try to clear out a bunch before I even leave my house. If not, it's playing with fire. I think Rogan also said, "It's not if I'm going to shite my pants, it's when."

It's amazing how we were told for years that eating red meat was unhealthy. What else is out government lying about?

The food pyramid is definitely one of them. Im down in Orlando right now. Id say 8 out of 10 people are obese or overweight

That's your body talking to you, maybe you should listen. Maybe it's not your thing.

Its because the body isnt yet adapted to digest the amount of ingested fat. You adapt and then its ok. The adaptation period for me was about a month. Unless you are drinking carbonated diet drinks or water...you wont get any gas. You should never trust a fart...because it wont be a fart

Sometimes it is the fiber that is causing this issues.
