frick it, throwing this up here so I don't have to try so hard to find it again. (and to motivate myself)
This was all done via keto and stronglifts + p90x3. I still weigh about the same as I did, but I haven't worked out seriously in damn near a year.
May edit the post to include the 300+ picture just to give an idea of how far my journey has come over the last 4 or so years.

You should be smiling at your progress and not taking a mugshot.

GREAT JOB MAN!!
That is seriously impressive! I have a lot of work to do. Started my process around March 15th this year and was about 261 and had lost all my strength for the most part.
About 70 days in, weighed in at 242 this morning after a terrible meal last night. Routine has been lifting on Monday and Thursday with cardio T,W,F,SA. Strength is slowly coming back while still cutting weight.
I decided that a strict diet (Paleo, Keto, etc.) would probably not be realistic with kids and job but have gone the route of just eating better, smaller portions and no sweets. I'm sure it will keep working until I hit a wall.
Goal is to be 210 and get back to HS/College strength. Glad this board is on track now and like seeing all the gains!

I don't like doing it either but it's a way to keep me focused and accountable.

I wasn't being facetious
I've posted before/afters in the weight loss thread, but I'm still very far from even being close to in shape. I'm a classic case of.. I am pretty well-versed in how to lose fat, but I do not execute worth a shite.

Me from a few years back when I was doing IF, basically been doing that for 6 years now
I'll post an updated pic soon. I'm more ripped these days (keto) but not as strong.

I guess it's my turn
2005, 190 lbs (never lifted a weight. It may not look it, but I was fat. I'm 5'6")
2008, 148 lbs (first show, state champion)
2009, 155 lbs
2011, 160 lbs
2015, 165 lbs (took 3 years off of competing to gain size and was working offshore)
2016, 170 lbs (day after guest posing and magazine shoot)

I've been told I should smile in those after pics before, but that's tough to think about when you're trying to flex everything
Edited my other post to include my 300+ pound self. The was <5 years ago.

Ask LSUWeights how to do the smiling and posing. It's pretty much a requirement on stage.
People are going to think you are trying to shite your pants if you don't.
