What do y’all suggest for cutting protein? Trying to lean out. Most of the proteins I’ve taken in the past were weight gain or bulking protein.

Whey protein should be your go to all the time. I use optimum nutrition 100% and have for 15 years.

Shrimp or chicken. Those are obvious. Whey protein is good but not super natural

Guess I’ll answer. MyProtein. 90-100 calories. Good stuff.

But yeah, just tweak your diet.

This. Protein does not equal weight gain or loss. Reduce your caloric intake, increase your activity, or preferably both. Increasing your protein might help satiate you more too.

Sometimes, the question is a bad one and requires a better response.

Yes. It was smart. The OP wants to cut weight without reducing protein intake. There is no such thing as a "cutting protein."

Is there such thing as a brand of cutting or bulking protein?

So please tell me how a certain protein is a cutting protein and one is a bulking protein? Protein is fricking protein, it's a macro. One doesn't "cut" by ingesting a certain type of protein.

He wasn't being a smart arse he was educating the OP.

Usually you'll do better by reducing carbs and/or fat to lean out. So, leaner proteins will bring fewer extra calories.

The tradeoff is that you lose micronutrients from leaner proteins. It isn't awful to go with chicken breast or shrimp, but be aware you should compensate for a loss of nutrients.

Overall reduction in calories and carbs will play a much bigger role in cutting than your protein source.

no hes talking about a lower calorie, high protein powder. Just like how there is bulking protein powder, there is also cutting/leaner protein powder. Thats what he is asking about. Idiot.
