Buy an unflavored whey isolate. Highest protein/calories ratio you are going to find.

If he is just talking about a good protein powder than say that, but there isn't a bulking or cutting protein. Just get a high quality whey isolate. True protein is best, my protein is good and ON is good. Plenty of good whey isolates out there.

Personally I prefer team skip from TN. But just pick one and work it into your macro goals.

There are low fat and low carb proteins

But at the end of the day it’s not magic for cutting idiot

That’s done with diet and lowering caloric intake

If you are depending on a type of protein to a critical factor of your cut or to even get you over the hump than you are doing it wrong.

no hes talking about a lower calorie, high protein powder. Just like how there is bulking protein powder, there is also cutting/leaner protein powder.

Just get a protein powder with less than 5 g carbs per 20 g protein and no fat.

I second True Protein as well. Purchased MuscleTech Ripped protein only because it was Amazon deal of day several months ago and like having post-w/o powder available immediately after anaerobic CrossFit workouts. Was light and clean protein and accomplished what I wanted at right price. Not sure if is true "cutting" protein, but met my needs.

I think we all need to keep in mind that general public knows nothing about nutrition so this question probably made sense to him. I've seen it asked online forever - "what's the best protein for fat loss?"

Everything being said about it is true, but perhaps a simple explanation of basic nutrition and explaining whey intake with that helps him long term.

When I read the question, I immediately understood that he wanted a low carb, no sugar protein powder.
