Concentrate will be cheaper. I get ON whey isolate from Costco. It's like 60 servings got 40. It's 30g a scoop I think.

I wish they made an unflavored version or at least a sucralose free flavor.

You can't trust protein powders just based on the basic nutritional facts alone.

I picked up a bag of Ascent Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter at a CF comp this weekend for $40. One of the best tasting protein powders on the market today. It's the same cost on Amazon prime.

I tried buying a bag at Wodapalooza, but they sold out in the first day. The rep did toss my 12 or so single serve packets for free that day, though.

I use Optimum Nutrition. When it comes to supps, I don’t always shoot for cheapest. I also don’t use it every day, so a 5 lb bucket lasts quite a while.

I have the On Double Rich Chocolate and the Extreme Milk Chocolate.

If you are mixing unflavored ON BCCA’s with either. Get the Extreme...is slightly sweeter tasting which will offset the gross BCAA taste.

Myprotein is the best bang for your buck while still being good protein. True nutrition is the best but pricey.

I was going to recommend myprotein as well.

Speaking of which I'm almost out of my 11 lbs bag of salted caramel. What is everybody's favorite flavor?

How much would one consider too much whey protein consumed in a day? Asking for a friend

I saw a study where they tested a lot of well known brands (ON too I think) and found many of them had much lower protein content then listed. So like instead of 25g per serving, it’s 17g.

I'd shoot for around .8 to 1g per lb of body weight. Any more and I don't think there are really any benefits. Out of that protein consumption, I'd assumed at least 50-75% should be from whole foods.
