Everybody's liver is fatty.
Seriously, 90% of gallbladder/liver ultrasounds I see show some degree of fatty liver.

I think this issue runs in my family history. I workout and eat well, but have no idea how to combat it. My grandpa had it, my dad has it, I’m sure ill have it.

Lulz I eat 4-5 fried eggs 6 days a week for the past 5 years

Daily Walks
Keto plus no vegetable/seed oils
Until under control no alcohol. When it gets back healthy only red wine and things like vodka sodas.
Limit anything else that your liver has to metabolize like caffeine to the daily limit until you get numbers under control.
Get good sleep 7 hours minimum. This isn't really liver related but it is hard to stick to the above if you are not sleeping well. When you are tired you are more likely to eat bad or drink bad.

Substitute those oils with beef tallow, duck and pork fat

Get your vitamin d levels checked and ask your doctor if a vit d supplement would help
