Do yourself a favor and get off it. Try eating less, eat a little better and exercise more instead of relying on your magic shot each day.

I've been on Mounjaro. I'm on week 16 and down 60lbs as of today. Was on 2 different BP medicines and was still running about 135-145 / 90 -100. Had to stop taking them because BP was getting too low. Without meds it's been 115ish over 80. Doc looked back on my records and this is the first time I've been under 275 since 2012. A lot of people like to demonize it for whatever reason but I think it has literally saved my life.

Im on Mounjaro and down 35 pounds. I did not want to get on it but after heavy consultation with my doctor, I did.

I use it as a tool. I have tried everything before and nothing seemed to work for me. I only plan on losing another 10-15 pounds and plan to ween off it. I feel much better at night, I am no longer out of breath doing basic tasks, I haven't had this much energy in a long time. My BP went from around 140/95 to 120/80 by dropping those 30 pounds. I am now off my BP medicine for the first time in 7 years. Started at 260 and now at 225. I am now starting to get a lot of "wow, you look great" comments at work/family events. That is a nice feeling if you have never felt it before... Also fitting into clothes from college is a nice feeling too lol

These medicines are only meant to be used as tools and last resorts. Do not let it take the place of getting yourself "fit" but more so to get you on the right track to becoming a healthier person.

7.5mg of Mounjaro runs be about $370 a month.

I'm not eligible because my A1C is normal but I've had coworkers lose 50+ lbs using it or Ozempic

No...

Zepbound is the weight loss version of Mounjaro. Wegovy is the weight loss version of Ozempic.

Yes.

I’m currently down 28 pounds on it.

I’m on generic semaglutide. And to another poster above, wegovy is not zepbound.

no,

wygovy/ozempic are glp-1 agonists only. similar to TRT it replaces natural levels at low doses but will put you over natural range at top dose

mounjauro/zepbound- is glp-1 plus GIP agonists.

OP what do you want to know. plenty here have used it, Jose is a doctor who has prescribes it and has used it for a cut.

I wouldn't say a cut

I ballooned up to >245 after my daughter was born and I started to help with weight loss. Now I'm down to 213 and trying to get under 210 and I will start to taper off. I started running 2x a week after I put her to sleep and that extra cardio has helped.

I still have a ways to go to be in a cut technically but I’m in much better shape now than I was when I started.

Probably second best shape I’ve ever been in. And that’s compared to when I was in the best shape of my life right before I started med school and had zero life responsibilities.

Stop eating crap and stop becoming a for life customer of big pharma.

Our taxes buy sugary drinks for children, then our taxes pay for obesity medicine.

round and round we go

so you know the guys GLP-1 levels? have you seen his blood work?

do you know his age, weight etc?

you have no clue if he should get on the medicine or not, just assigning your moralistic views to things.
