I think last time we argued, you were completely carnivore stating that fiber wasn't necessary. I guess you added fruit?

Almost 8 pages into to this thread and not one link, not one study, not even a scrap of evidence to support anything yall are claiming is an irrefutable fact

Why can't you all just do this

My brother is Christ, this is exactly what you said

Highly palatable calorie dense foods are definitely a problem. That doesn't mean it's the seed oils.

You're trying to connect the dots that aren't there.

The reason I said that is because it's really easy to sit down and pound 3-4,000 calories with some modern food options. You're questioning why everyone is fat and sick, there's your answer. Hyper palatable foods that are not very satiating. But we blame seed oils alone.

That’s exactly what I said

To which you’ve Repeatedly replied with your fundamental argument that seed oils are not only not harmful but maybe good for you. Well, I’d put that square in the “harmful” category.

How did you select seed oils as the specific ingredient that creates all the harm in these foods? You've learned this somewhere. Please point me in that direction with a link.

C’mon man, I don’t even know how to answer this earnestly if it’s a serious question

I eat no fruit. It was just an example. I get no fiber. It’s not needed.

We’ve already done it on here. Fiber isn’t needed. Fiber is not an essential nutrient. You will not die if you don’t get any fiber in your diet.

All good brother

I know we sometimes disagree on things, same with Ron and me but I sincerely hope for the best for all of yall on here. I hope all of yall reach your health and fitness goals.

I sincerely hope yall go on to have careers that dwarf my own and marry beautiful women and have a bunch of amazing kids.

The shite we may disagree on is so fricking trivial in the grand scheme of life I don’t want to waste another minute of life getting upset over shite like this.

The news today has me pretty bummed and then I’m pretty sure I ruptured something in my foot tonight so frick arguing over the 1% of things we may not agree on.

I don’t get much fiber either and have zero issues. Lots of fiber actually tears me up.

All good though

There's definitely some hyperbole involved in this debate. If Americans woke up tomorrow and started getting all of their potato chips, Little Debbie cakes, and fried chicken made with beef tallow, it would not make Americans healthy.

I'm also curious why all seed oils are usually grouped together by critics, when they really don't all have the same lipid profile. Canola oil is not the same as corn oil.

By the way, some of you should know that you can make your own mayonnaise in less than a minute with fresh eggs and without all of the preservatives, and doing so will allow you to use olive oil if you like, while also saving money compared to buying mayonnaise at the store.

In a wide-mouth, quart-sized jar, put in two raw eggs, 2 tbsp of vinegar (or substitute lemon juice -- I usually use one of each), a teaspoon of salt, and a pint of oil. Then, put an immersion blender down at the bottom of the jar and blend, slowly pulling upward. Instant mayonnaise.

EDIT: if the mayo is thinner than you like, you can thicken it up by substituting a bit of coconut oil for the olive oil or whatever other oil you're using.

Get an App that scans products for you for bad things. You can then choose what you are willing to eat or not.

I am not going to get too deep in the weeds on this one.

I have seen olive oil mentioned several times in this discussion.

Know that there are many counterfeits of olive oil out there on the grocery store shelf's.
Many olive oils you see at your local grocery stores has lots of soybean oil in it.
Yes, the have actual olive in the bottles but they are 'cut' with other seed oils to increase profits.

Counterfeit olive oil is huge business for the crime families/syndicates out there.

Real olive oil is going to have a slight pepper smell and has a little pepper taste.

A brand I use is California Olive Ranch.

There are other good brands out there so do a little research.
