Curcumin. Chris Kresser wrote an article on it recently but I’m not in a position to link. Sorry about the lazy post.

Curcumin, take it warm with fat and a pinch of black pepper for best bioavailability. It is legit. Fish oil as well.

What’s the pepper do? What were your symptoms before and what are they now?

Thanks. After researching last winter I was using tumeric spice in breakfast food but the flavor was overwhelming so I paused. Any gastric side effects you experience with the capsule?

I’m no scientist but

Black pepper. Another way to boost the absorption of curcumin is to consume it in the whole food, turmeric root (fresh or dried as a powder) because natural oils found in turmeric root and turmeric powder can enhance the bioavailability of curcumin seven to eight fold.Feb

I like a lot of pepper on my food so i just take it after a meal

I have a degenerating disk in the lower back and chrondomalacia in both knees. I stopped taking aleve for inflammation bc turmeric and fish oil was working. The inflammation still presents itself, especially after a workout, but I’d say it’s down about 60%. I also credit less inflammation to a low carb diet, so I don’t know exactly how much is the supplements.

turmeric is overpowering as a stand alone spice, I agree

There is no side effects for me w the capsule. It’s a big capsule but no taste and no gastric issues

I have chondromalaysia in both knees, plantar fasciitis in left foot, something going on w/ left hamstring, and both my shoulders. I'll give these a shot!
