yeah, I thought "maybe I should have muted the audio" once I replayed the vid. Just good ole Tubi early today on in the background.

Good rep

I saw that little stutter step after you got it up. Be careful with that. That'll destroy your knee easily.

Balance is a big reason I squat and DL with no shoes.

I assume you're talking about the little step back with the left foot? That was the only rep I've had that happen on. Pretty sure I was just all up in my head psychologically looking at 3 plates on there. Wish I had video of the 320 rep since it was much better, but my buddy was ready to hop in and spot that one

Another thing I'm likely going to take away from this month as well.

That's awesome man. Like the poster a few posts above me said, ditch the trainers and either go barefoot. If the gym won't allow it or you're uncomfortable with it, get some Chuck Taylors or Vans. Either will provide a much more stable platform when you've got the weight on your back.

Alright fellas results are in.

First congrats to all y’all that stuck with it and pushed yourself this month. Whenever I didn’t want to squat again I’d look to the board and get some motivation from y’all so respect and thanks for that.

375 is the number for 2025 Squatober. Used 345 training max. Last year got 360 so +15 = ain’t mad at it. Wanted to try for 380 but no spotters in home gym I reminded myself I’m 44yrs old don’t have anything to prove

Keep those PR post coming looking forward to the lunch and evening reports!

And to displaced listening to the news going for a PR, that is certainly a choice, wouldn’t be mine but respect brother. Awesome job

Cheers fellas

music doesn't really get me hyped up. Even when I go to Crunch at lunch, I'm listening to an audiobook or a podcast.

This was the first Squatober I have actually used proper lifting shoes. I love my Nike Metcons. I normally worked out in regular old tennis shoes before.

New PR of 450!

Started the month at 440 from last years PR in Squatober. I tried getting 460, but failed. My belt snapped as soon as I started the accent and that was a wrap

TM 275 did 300 today. Not a PR but happy with the progress and made it the whole month though some knee pain.

Congrats to all!

Congrats everyone hitting some great maxes and PRs!!

I hit 355 solo after doing a 315 TM all month. I definitley feel like 365 was attainable but since I was alone with no spot I did not push it past that. Great month!! My weak point is definitley low back my legs had more in them no doubt so I will be working to strengthen that this year

Not gonna lie, I feel like the aftermath was way more work than yesterday. This is the first time it took over an hour to do one of these workouts. The close grip bench/kb swing superset was a chore, so ..many... sets

See y'all next year

Hit 505 yesterday on back squat! Up from 445 last year!

Can't wait for next year.

Damn!! Way to go! 5 plates is a goal of mine soon. But I still have some work to do.

Did anyone buy the "I Survived" shirt?

I didn't. I wouldn't want walk around with my PR on my chest, but that is just me.

Same. If I am wearing my Squatober shirt, it means I finished the month, so technically I survived.

Pretty embarrassing for sorinex to repost SO MANY no reps on their instagram page. Probably 2/3rds didn’t squat to depth

You should email them with your complaints. They didn’t post re-post mine, so maybe mine was so bad they couldn’t even share it.
