We might run pool season or arm farm again and then strongville or silverback in December

I’m gonna go lighter on the legs with filling out the hoodie 1 and then get back on a 5 day program to close out the year with filling out the hoodie 2 which has more leg stuff than 1st version

Finished day 24 about an hour ago. Squats felt great. Bench was a struggle, but got it done. 91% for 4 was a rep record on bench, so that was cool.

My bench has felt strong this month. I’m looking forward to testing it.
I’ve also been consuming a ton of calories. Might be helping.

I'm a day behind this week. Just hit step 1 on the stairway. 91% feels good so far.
My left knee has been bothering me so I dug out the slant wedges and...no pain.
Squats felt great today. I may go ahead and buy a slant board. Would be easier to use than these wedges.
Bench Press warmup feels great. Looking forward to this stairway.
Bench Press felt really good today.
Cardio was sneaky hard on the cables.
Do all the Strongville workouts use the stairway?

It was be summer here soon, so Pool Season 1 in Nov and Strongville in Dec would work well.
Also could be tempted by Benchamin Franklin II due to it's 3 day a week and upper body focus
Day 24 was quality pump session. Got a feeling day 25 Business Friday will go out with a bang.
Is there three recovery days Sat - Mon before the PR party on day 29 Tuesday?
PPSA IG Q&A explains the program is Mon to Fri, but has provided a guide on active recovery days on the weekends also

Twice a week.
Day 1 squat and bench. Day 4 deadlift.

I think I'm going to buy Strongville and run it in February.
What happened to Dr Denim? Haven't seen him post in a while.

Day 25 done
Today's workout wasn't bad at all. DB curls were the worst of it. With that said, I feel like crap. Started getting sick yesterday and didn't sleep very well. Plan on loading up on fluids today and see how it goes. I may push tomorrow's workout to Saturday.

Strongville is AWESOME but the days that have stairways for squat and bench are long as frick. So I’d only run it if you can fit 90+ minutes of actual lifting into your schedule that month.
Silverback is almost the same program but without stairways and slightly lower volume/higher %s. It’s also awesome and noticeably shorter most days.

yea i look at strongville and silverback as the two main strength programs in the ppsa fleet(not that all arent, but these are 2 of the most balanced)
1) stongville is much higher volume with a little lower intensity
2) silverback is higher intensity lower volume
ideally you would run strongville back to back or strongville followed by periodic table of thickness than finish up the 12 week run with silverback. I think something like that would work great, especially if in a caloric surplus.
big time committment. many nights will be 90-120min for first 8 weeks.

Solid one today. Fast squats felt great. I’m ready to do some sumo grip deadlifts.
Gotta love the old dude who occupied the squat rack for his deadlifts and when I asked if could work in he said no

After I finished my squats on the squat rack he went and lay on the bench and kicked his feet up

Being he had a squat percentage range, I went:
225 10s
235 10s
245 11s
255 10s
255 11s
225 on snatch grip DL was killer on my forearms.
