re: Squatober... See you in 2021! - MarkInTable
Last couple of sets of back squat were pretty rough for me. I can feel the rdls a bit today, but I treated the cardio like cardio and went lighter on the weight and moved fast....

re: Squatober... See you in 2021! - MarkInTable
I haven't had any issues recovering from the squats. General soreness after the first couple of days (78 reps day 2), but now I'm not even getting sore anymore. It's a good mix of high volume, heavy weight, or tempo variations. It isn't like we are hitting 80%+ of our max everyday. I can already tel...

re: Squatober... See you in 2021! - MarkInTable
I finished day 2 over lunch. That's the most squat volume I've ever done. My legs were shaking doing the wall sits at the end after 78 squats. Took right at an hour to complete with 15 minute warmup, not near as long as yesterday....

re: New irons advice - MarkInTable
I second the Apex 19's. Also consider used iron's (from a reputable source) once you know what you want. I got the Apex 19s in "Like New" condition from Callaway preowned. I got the 4-AW setup. The wraps/stickers were still on the shafts and there wasn't a mark on the clubs. I don't think they had b...

re: Powerlifting Shoes - MarkInTable
The elevated heel helps people with limited ankle mobility, like myself, get more depth in their squat. I wear the adidas powerlift brand and have no complaints. If you don't have issues with ankle mobility then something with a flat rubber surface would work for both, think chuck taylors. I persona...

re: The Greyskull Methods- A Primer - MarkInTable
Not really trying to lose weight, mainly focused on strength for now. 6'3 200 ~15%bf. I will probably dial back the calories to around 2600. 3100 was what was recommended by MFP app, but the Leangains calculator has me at around 2600....

re: The Greyskull Methods- A Primer - MarkInTable
Bought everything necessary for a home gym over the holidays and finally got it all set up this week. Next week I am planning to start running Greyskull LCI using Phraks as the lifting portion. Not really looking to lose weight (6'3, 200 ~15%bf), just looking to get stronger, stay athletic, and reco...

I'm debating something similar. I've started Ryan all year, but Tannehill is on waivers so I'm considering picking him up for this week....
