Leave my buddy out of this! What time you going out there Friday? Bringing my lil boy. He's never watched the pros hit a golf ball. Should be fun.

Would be 7 am but Friday weather looks like rain coming in around 9 and clearing out around 1. Gonna watch it closer tomorrow and see.

Impressive day from Alex and Matt Fitzpatrick. It wasn’t all Matt either.

Alex had a 360° lip out on 17 for birdie. He had a good day.

Will be interested to see how he plays in alternate shot. Best ball definitely helps your nerves a lot more which I felt like he had the first few holes today.

It’s a great tournament, it’s a legit PGA event in South Louisiana, always has a solid field of golfers, a fun format, and the suites are always well taken care of and stocked.

Not to mention it raises millions of dollars a year for children’s charities in the area.

What don’t you like about it?

The course is a gimmick. It's consistently ranked at the bottom for tour stops by the players. The format is stupid and the only reason some pros like it is because it's the only way they'd play it. They don't have to take it as serious because frankly who wants to take this joke of a course serious.

I think that’s what makes it great. It’s a fun event that the pros are typically pretty relaxed at.

It brings a good field and the crowd is usually pretty good. I don’t think anyone is comparing it to the masters, but it’s a great event that I always have a blast at.

To each their own.

This. It’s a fun event. We get to watch PGA gold close to home and it’s huge draw for local economy and charity.

I don’t think anyone goes to Zurich expecting to see a highly competent PGA masters environment.

Duval and Daly about to shatter the record for worst 36-hole score in this format

Paresh Amin and Michael Thompson might have something to say about it later.

It’s never going to be a top tier event but I usually go at least 3/4 days and always have a blast. It’s one of my favorite sports events to attend.

I think it’s way more fun to attend than to watch as a golf fan. It seems like the players are all having a good time and it’s a nice change of pace from the normal 72 stroke individual event

Idk you’re getting downvoted. This is the truth. That doesn’t mean we can’t go out there and have fun watching some good golfers, but the course and field are below average.

Just turned the tournament on, seems like there is zero buzz/crowd. They showed an overhead shot and it looked empty. Looks like a perfect day to go out and watch golf.
