Who prefers spikeless shoes?

The options for spikeless seem like they should be a bit lighter and more comfortable comparatively speaking, but I feel like giving up that level of grip and traction makes them a no-go.
My Adidas Tour360's are right at a year old (with one spike change) and though they are certainly not uncomfortable - I find myself craving something a little softer with more cusion and comfort....tried on the footjoy hyperflex EDGE @ Dicks the other day, and they were quite nice, but still had spikes and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't even qualify as water-resistant.
What do yall like?

I've tried to loke spikelss because the True Links All Day Knits I have are some of the most comfort shoes I own, Literally have them on as I sit at my office right now... That said I do feel like my feet slide around inside the shoe too much for my liking.. I've have a pair of Puma and New Balance spikeless but i found the Pumas would slip in wet conditions and the New Balance were probably the most secure spikeless I've ever had.. The little rubber spikes wore done really quickly..
So with all that said I ended up giving True Links Spiked shoes a shot.. I'll just stick with spiked while playing normal.. The True's are a nice balance of comfort and grip more so that the Footjoys I have..

My limited experience with spikeless is that they caked up with grass/mud way more than my spiked option does. Something about the patern just filled up with grass if it was remotely damp. Could just be the version I had, but I get better grip in my spikes for sure and honestly don't find that they are any more uncomfortable. I have no desire to go back to wearing a spikeless option.

Love my spikeless Foot Joys and Skechers. If it's really wet and muddy I wear a pair of Foot Joys that have the spikes. Haven't had any big slipping problem with spikeless.

My spikeless Olukai shoes are comfortable and have plenty of traction, on my 2nd pair in 2 years and I can count on 1 hand the amount of times I've slipped and lost traction. The spiked shoes I've owned hurt my feet, specifically my left foot, there are spikes under the joint where my foot and pinky toe meet that hurts, like a hot spot and I haven't found a spiked shoe that doesn't have one there.

I use both but prefer spikeless, Nike is what I typically wear.

My Payntr spineless are very comfortable.

I haven't worn spikes in several years.
I overspend on all things golf, but after finding the Nike Infinity G NN shoes I'll keep wearing them until Nike stops making them.
Stable, comfortable, good traction, and totally washable.

I had some ECCO spikeless, but wasn't a fan. They were not premium ECCO's though.
Went back to spiked FootJoy's for awhile and impulse bought some FootJoy spikeless Pro/SLX Carbon on sale and love those.

If I’m walking I’ll wear my spikeless air max golf shoes. Otherwise I prefer spikes. Much better traction and stability through the swing IMO.

I don’t swing fast enough to need spikes.
I could probably play in street shoes or barefoot.

Metal spikes need to make a comeback

Just bought the Payntr Reserve Classic Tour S/L, very comfortable and very stable when swinging.

When walking I use spikeless Ecco Biom C4. Most comfortable and stable spikeless shoe I’ve found for my feet with durable traction for a spikeless shoe.
When riding or if the grass is wet I’ll use spiked Payntr eighty seven sc. best spiked shoe I’ve ever worn and comfortable enough to walk in as well.
Both are expensive, but you get what you pay for

The Skechers are super comfortable but don't hold up as well as some of the others.

Not sure when every shoe manufacturer decided waterproof was a requirement but I hate it. In the heat of a south LA summer, I finish a round and it's like I went swimming in my socks they are so soaked. What's the point of waterproof shoes if I am soaking them from the inside?
I have been trying, and failing to find, a "hot weather breathable" golf shoe since early this year. Obviously I don't plan to wear them if it's about to or just finished raining but I would like an option for those July and August dry as a bone days.

If thats what you're looking for - I think those footjoy hyperflex edge (exclusive to Dicks/golf galaxy) are the answer. Tried on 20 pairs of different shoes and those were the best buy far. Light, breathable, spikes.
