I know most here may not have played in an actual stroke play tournament, so please leave scramble scores out of here -- those aren't real scores. Nor are the "stroke play tournaments" that are disguised and have triple-bogey maxes.

What is your best stipulated round (as in -- be it a qualifier or tournament) that you've ever shot?

Mine is a 79 which I did last October, but on a slightly easy course (I've only been playing golf seriously for a little over 2 years). Shot a 82 for a qualifier recently for a Florida amateur event at a tough course. I am happy with my improvement -- and I have come to realize it's something that happens over months and years, not weeks.

So I was just wondering what the serious golfers on here have shot in stipulated rounds?

I've shot 77. wasnt a stipulated round, bit every ball went in the hole and every stroke was legit. I've only broken 80 a few times, but I think I hit just about every fairway and green that day.

I've shot 68 a few times, but haven't been able to go lower than that unfortunately.

Not sure why I'm replying, this is the golf board, no one will believe me anyway.

74 in a tournament

73 in a regular round

Have never played 18 at or under par, but I’m so so close.

I shot a 127 at Silver Lakes golf Course in a US OPEN local qualifier last year. Played it down and out the whole time. Carded a 68 on the front and a 59 on the back.

Lowest round I've ever shot was 74. I shot it in a tourney at Link on the Bayou several years ago. Had it -2 with 5 holes left and shite the bed.

The whole point of a "stipulated round" is tournament conditions. Tournaments are truly different than just a casual round -- where most people don't play the ball down, don't do anything proper...

Tournaments you have the added pressure and the greens are all tricked up usually. Completely different golf, that's why I was asking.

75 w/ no birdies (Par 71). I just made a lot of boring pars. I probably tapped in 9 pars and had to make 1 long putt and a few testers. All of the bogies, I tapped in. It was a weird round.

If he's telling the truth -- he affected the other players in his group for sure. One guy shot a 107 and another guy withdrew at the turn.

Some say shite players don't effect others, but that simply is not true.

It was more the group behind us that was upset.

The shot that McCoy took at my khakis really hurt me more than anything. Those things were perfectly pressed and looked good that day.

65 in the 2nd round of the Mid-amateur back in the early 90's.

Was 2 back of the lead on the final day and blew up on the back 9 and played it 7 over.

Still haunts me.
