It was a 450 yard par 4, had to hit a 250 yard 4 iron back to pin, stuck it to three and a half feet

360 when I was 16, but I'd guess it only carried 290. July in FL. Some fairways were like parking lots on that course. I did used to hit it far when I was more fit and flexible.

About 340 on a long drive hole at a scramble. Just unleashed on it and nutted it.

I “lost” the long drive to a guy that couldn’t get the ball off the ground warming up. I’ll bet that guy couldn’t hit it 220 on his best day. Coincidentally that team also won closest to the hole as well. Hmmmm.

Last summer on a hot dry day, I measured a drive at 269.
Have not had one that long this year.

My average drive (that does not hit trees or drown) goes 225.

I’m not a big hitter. Those days are gone, but never really were.

How far did you choke down on the grip to take some yardage off?

How much uphill was that 4 iron shot?

Did you open the face 5 to 10 degrees to cut it against the 30 mph wind in your face?

3/4 turn or 5/8ths for control?
