I have finally fixed my fade off the tee, hitting irons pretty flush, chip game has always been a strong suit for me, but I cant seem to make a putt from 6-12 ft to save my life!!

If the line is right, the speed is off. If the speed is good, I misread the line. It is extremely frustrating and often costs me from scoring in the 70's.

Mental. Ive got all of the shots right now (at least that's how it feels), but just make stupid mistakes that cost me.

Chipping and pitching. Have the yips and am completely lost. Just putt whenever I can including up to 30-40 yards off the green.

Seems the more I practice that part of the game the worse it gets.

Worst right now is the iron game. I actually have improved greatly there over the last few rounds, but every now and then a toe ball sneaks in. That's my miss, when I don't fire my right side through, I hit my irons way out on the toe and it goes nowhere.

However, I tied the low round of my career last Friday with a 67 (-3) at Pelican Point Lakes. Was +2 through 8 holes with 3 violent birdie lip outs, and played my last 10 holes in -5 (6 birdies and a bogey). So I'm not complaining about any part of my game right now.

3/4 to full 56. Have no confidence standing over it right now. It's so frustrating because it used to be my best club. 50 yards and in and chipping I'm good. Stretch out past the 56 to the 52 and I'm good as well. Just the dang 56. Just need more range time with it.

Getting to the golf course. Nothing like a new CC membership, a torn PCL and partially torn meniscus.

Started getting in a groove with the new miruas, prepping for a new driver this season as my M2 was reaching its deathbed, and then slipped on some ice.

That happens to me every winter. I just use an 8i, pw, or putter when possible.

I want to throw my wedges in the lake right now. Insanely frustrated with chipping. I can go to the range and hit hundreds of golf balls onto the short range chipping area. I rarely duff or thin a shot at the practice facility. Maybe 1 out of 10 I will mishit. Maybe less.

On the golf course, I shite the bed on 95% of my chip shots.

I used to have this issue, but IF I can convince myself that I dont give a shite what happens on that shot, I always hit it well. Its so mental.

I drive poorly. No idea where it's going off the tee. It stays in play most of the time though. Irons are spraying a bit leading to difficult pitch shots, but the short game is on point.

Irons. Coming back from L shoulder surgery, and I have no idea what to do with them.

I fully believe this is what is going on. At the range, there isn't a consequence for a piss missile across the chipping area. I find that I chop my shot at the course because I'm afraid of blasting it across the green. Which leads to a fatted shot or. . . blasting it across the green.

I was having this issue and realized that I had the club (left hand) too far in my palm and not in my fingers. I changed that and have been hitting fairways like never before. Couldnt believe that little tweak made such a huge difference.

Closing the gap on my chips. I can chip well enough to get the ball on the green.....but I am always too far from the pin to give the putt a reasonable chance to go in. I need to be able to close this gap and get chips closer.
